  1. You’re right JackJack! In fact the best part in the flight ops intro scenes of the movie “Top Gun” is the Tomcat’s burners flaming against the Jet Blast Deflectors right before launch! Cheers, - CraigNT55
  2. Hello Everyone, Ramsay was correct, the Game Mode changed and when I set it back to my desired settings the excessive drag situation ceased! Thanks so much for all the advice from this great flight sim community! Cheers! - CraigNT55
  3. Hello Everybody, Thanks for all your good advice. So far, I’ve calibrated my throttle (it works fine for other aircraft). I have the T/O trim set. I look at the external view and the afterburners are engaged. One thing I just noticed is that my nozzle (NOZ) setting does not get any larger than 50% in full afterburner. When I fly in the Training mission “Cold and Dark” and follow the tutorial I’m able to get 100% on the NOZ setting in full afterburner and have no issues on the climb-out after take off. When I create a custom cold and dark mission and follow the startup steps completely I can only get 50% on the NOZ reading on my take off. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Cheers! - CraigNT55
  4. Hello Everyone, Before the update I was able to get off Super Carrier cat-shots with no problem and get to 200 knots with no problem. Now after a launch I flop around at 160 knots and continue spiraling down to 100 knots before crashing into the water even at full burners. Anyone else experiencing this or have any suggestions? Not sure why things have changed so. I've checked my throttle settings and all seems to be as before. Thanks in advance for any help. Cheers! - CraigNT
  5. Hi Everyone, I just tried Jeeve79's code to the description.lua file but still have the BORT numbers showing up on tail and nose of the F-16. Any other suggestions would be truly appreciated! I agree with CucoNegron, the BORT numbers are rather unappealing and I'd rather have my own numbers applied on my livery skins of each aircraft. Cheers, - Craig
  6. Thanks HB! I'll give it a try! Edit: Hey HB, you were spot on! It worked! Thanks so much! Cheers! - CraigNT
  7. Well, I tried using the Intel Texture Works plug-in and the latest PSD files I still had a dark DDS file. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Cheers, - CraigNT
  8. Hey Santus, Thanks so much for the reply! I'll give it a try. Cheers, - CraigNT
  9. Hello Everyone, Just noticed there is a "Sticky" topic for F-16C templates so I'll re-post here. Sorry for duplication. :) I'm having difficulties with exporting the "Main_2_Template" PSD file to a DDS file. I'm using Photoshop with the Nvidia plug-in and applying the DXT5 ARGB 8 bpp / interpolated alpha settings. The resulting DDS file is very dark in comparison to the original PSD template as displayed in the Model Viewer. All of the other F-16C PSD templates seem to come through the export satisfactory except for F16_bl50_Main_2_Template.psd. The attached images display the original template, the export settings, the resulting DDS file, and the livery as seen in the Model Viewer. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Cheers! - CraigNT
