  2. hello everyone! i got a problem that driven me nuts( there is a mod that makes a windshield of A-10C yellow (or gold) like it supposed to be. there is a serious problem with this mod: 1) it adds a desired color but causing SHADOWS on a glass that totally unrealistic 2) when cockpit flood is on there is green overlay over colored area that looks unrealistic as well i have tried messing with alpha contrast and color intensity of texture itself with no joy. the green spectre of cockpit flood overlays green spectre of transparent windshield (couse there is GREEN in Yellow color) and mess all up. i can make it RED with no problem but not YELLOW( the alpha channel of DDT is suppose to be low contrast to make a glass TRANSPARENT and that means we cant achieve solid color of a windshield, only a tiny bit of smoked effect( looks like thats why ED was unable to make a real yellow colored windshields like on real A-10. the shadow problem is actual too.   7. great mod, but what about night? with flood on at night it looks like this :( strange green layer. any ideas?
  8. this mod does not working with UltaraMFCD, kneeboard appears olways on right MFCD and not on main screen(( it will be great to have monitor select option in kneeboard settings, it will be great multi-monitor solution
  9. it IS strange, but editing first value (max zoom in) in server.lua CameraViewAngleLimits line makes absolutely no effect, however editing second one (max zoom out) works and you can zoom OUT out of cockpit)) someone have figured it out? i need more zoom in

  11. has anyone found view.lua for A-10C in the current version? i was thinking to slightly increase maximum zoom level but it looks like there are no view.lua in DCS World\Mods\aircraft\A-10C. strange thing is that file is there for all other aircraft except A-10C and KA-50.

  13. as for JDAM delivery (for example GBU-38 ) the problem is accuracy: its really hard to create an accurate mark point even in "force correlate" mode when camera is relatively stable, it takes one extra pass over the target to mark it because you must be very close to mark it precisely. maybe it will be easier with practice :joystick:
  14. has anyone found a way to edit\customize ejected pilot skin in current version for A-10C? i was looking for answer for years)) all custom pilot skins are turn back to default "eagle driver" skin after hog driver ejecting. no jokes about "don't get hit\don't get ejected" please. thank you

  16. as we know a drag index of TGP is 1.17 which is more then mavs (0.82) and really slowing hog down. the idea is using AGM-65 camera as targeting pod like A-10A drivers used to do in first gulf war. the only question is method. can someone share knowledge of step-by-step strafe\bomb delivery without TGP? 476th are most welcome, as i can see from your 476th Payload Presets this technique is practicing by your squadron :smilewink:

  18. in 476th vFG's checklists i found this: LAUNCH COCKPIT SETUP LEFT CONSOLE 23. Emergency brake handle - Push IN (if starting left engine first); pull OUT (if starting right engine first). could someone explain why? thank you
  19. there is no readme and no installation process described in this mod. should i place all files in bazar\world folder? how can i place object in-game? there is no such object in mission editor after installation. thank you

  21. what equipment must be near FAPR Heliport to make lighting system work? (for USA) i have tried place Georgian GPUs (Ural, Zil) near heliport, but lights still out. can anyone provide mission file with heliport lighting working? :helpsmilie:
