This is probably a simple fix. Recently I am getting constant AWACS Bogie calls. I can't figure out how to stop them. I change the channel but any time I turn it to the airfield channel it's constant How do I turn them off. Thanks for your help in advance.

When cold starting the manual says to hold the {Y} key down while pressing the bit/FCS OSB. There is no FCS button on the bit page. Was this changed after the initial manual was written? The picture in the manual show the FCS OSB but I sure can't find that page.

I just went through the start up in my mind and sure enough I don't recall switching to Nav before I took off. Thanks, I'm pretty sure you solved my delemma.

Hello, any ideas why my bomb fall line is pointing hard over to the right in my hud? It doesn't change by changing direction, just stays hard over. I'm in CCIP, N/T, 1 single, 1 multiple, AG mode, Master arm on, 82 selected on stores page. No change through altitude or direction. Can't think of anything else to add.

I thought that I saw a control to get a landing grade from the LSO after a carrier landing. I have looked through all of the controls and can't find one. Anyone know if I'm delusional. Looking for the F-14 and the F-18.

So LeCuvier I'm confused, once I make my bindings and I save it to say F-14b.diff.lua. Where exactly do I save that file to so DCS doesn't change it. Thanks again.

How are you guys checking your Frame rate. I found a binding in the controls section for Frame Rate and bound my F key to it but it doesn't open anything when it is depressed.

Okay guys, great info. one more question. LT says to put the bindings in the DCS World folder but what if I am flying out of the Open Beta would those bindings go in the open beta folder or do they still go n the DCS World folder? Great info LeCuvier, thank you.

Anyone else set up there control bindings only to find they come back another time to fly and the bindings are all skewed. Usually what I get is duel bindings for switches and buttons that are duplicated on the stick and the throttle. For example if I have view up slow bound to the hat switch on the stick and it is say button 20 then button 20 on the throttle will be assigned to the same control. I think I moved the default location for the control saves. Can someone tell me what the default location is for the controls to be saved at? Not sure that has anything to do with this issue it's just a thought. Anyone else ever have this happen? I have the Thrustmaster A-10 Warthog stick and throttle. I don't use the target software and this happens on all of the aircraft that I have.:helpsmilie:

The IP log in requires a password, checked the briefing and found no password for IP login. Of course the refresh didn't help at all.

Took a break from flying for a few months and moved from a large city to a very rural country town if that makes any difference. When I returned I found that a lot of the servers said my Ping is too high. I never had that issue ever in the past. Does any one know what I can do to resolve this issue. I don't even know what causes high Ping.:helpsmilie:Thanks in advance.

It's been a terrible 48 hours. Had to reload Win10. Had DCS World on C drive so it got deleted then after getting windows back online I had issues with my password in DCS. Now my last issue is that when I load up DCS and before the title screen comes on I get three strange, not sure what to call them but one is like a threat radar which high lights a compass direction the second thing on my screen looks like a set of wings that seem to correspond to the direction that the threat radar is pointing and the third thing is a radar audio control box which lists Bass, Treble and 1 other adjustment. My mouse has no control on them and neither do my VR hand controllers. Has any one else ever had any thing like I've described show up on their screens? BTW these things are not part of any aircraft and they are on my screen in all aircraft.

I'll dispense with my PC specs as they are great for DCS. I use the Oculus Rift S and TM Warthog in DCS. I also use my mouse and have turned the VR hand controllers off. My issue is that arbitrarily the mouse will disappear and the controllers completely stop responding. Sometimes the controls and mouse comes back and sometimes they don't and I end up crashing. This happens in the F-16C, and the A-10C. Anyone have an idea as to why this is happening? :helpsmilie::pilotfly:

Is anyone else having problems getting to the buttons and switches along the rear of the right and left consoles. I can't reach the test switches nor the lights and trim panels also on the right console I cant see or reach the Avionics panel. Anyone else? How did you overcome this difficulty? A zoom function in VR might help but I haven't found a way to make the zoom work in VR.

Just learned about the UI layer on a You Tube video. It is a real game changer for VR. I can finally assign HOTAS buttons to my mouse clicks. No more trying to find my mouse and peek under my Rift S to read my keys on the keyboard for the most part. If you haven't used it give it a try. Big game changer for me.

Bignewy I will give that a try. I originally set my mouse to work everywhere because on occasion I have had to have it work outside the window but I will give your suggestion a try. Thanks for your response.

I hope someone might have an idea as to why when I'm flying in VR I sometimes lose all my flight controls. Sometimes it is because I have hit the left mouse button and a menu will pop up that I can't see in VR but it causes me to lose my Warthog throttle and stick. but usually I just lose control of them and I will slowly start to bank and finally go into the ground. Sometimes I will get them back at the last second. Any ideas out there would be highly appreciated. I'm using an I7 9600K, 32G RAM, 1080TI Nvidia GPU, HOTAS Warthog, Rift S, but it also happens with my Rift CV1. This happens with the F-5, F-14, A-10 and F-18.

Is there a better way to video my flying where I have the use of the F keys to change my view during play back. I currently use the NVIDIA graphics layer but I can't change the view from what was originally filmed.
