  1. Hard to say but if it was me I would do an update.exe repair on the 1.5 install to see if that would help. I would first do it on my original DCS install and after that I would do it on the 1.5 install. Good luck Let us know if that works out for you.
  2. I have the same problem. None of the sound sliders change the volume of what they control except for the music and the Master volume slider. All others are inoperative.
  3. [FSF]Ian please see below. Here is the .LUA file that I built. I don't think there is anything here that would black out the cockpit screens. It all worked fine the last time I played and then this today. _ = function(p) return p; end; name = _('duelmonitors'); Description = 'Two monitor configuration'; Viewports = { Center = { x = 0; y = 0; width = 1920; height = 1080; viewDx = 0; viewDy = 0; aspect = 1.7; } } LEFT_MFCD = { x = 2000; y = 105; width = 550; height = 800; } RIGHT_MFCD = { x = 2555; y = 105; width = 550; height = 800; } UIMainView = Viewports.Center
  4. I have my two MFCDs working in my second monitor but the screens in the cockpit are black. All switches are on. Any ideas why they are off in the cockpit?
  5. So I have my two monitors working with the two MFCDs on the second monitor. The problem is that they are turned off on the main instrument panel but are on on the second monitor. All switches for the MFCDs are on but the screens are black. Any ideas out there?
  6. Thanks guys, All is working good now.
  7. Can some one verify something for me? Did I read that Multiplayer doesn't support multiple monitors? Thanks in advance.
  8. Can someone tell me how I can insure that I am not shooting a friendly down? So few are on Teamspeak that you can't find out by talking to anyone and I know that the round dot on the radar is friendly but are the dashes all good targets? I don't want to commit fratricide for lack of knowledge.

  10. I have my End Key assigned to screenshot but when pressed I don't get a screen shot. Any Ideas?
  11. I have the END button assigned to screenshot but I don't get a screenshot when I press it. I can't find anything in the A-10 or DCS manuals about screenshots. Anyone have any idea why I might not be getting screen shots. I am looking in C:\Users\name\saved games\DCS world\screenshots. There are some older ones there that I took in the past but I can't get it to work anymore.
  12. Thanks for your replies. The missing parts of my wing and the spawning issues were due to the more visibility mod and the jerking zoom in my cockpit was due to the throttle on the CH Fighterstick being on just a tad. I have to remember to make sure that control is completely off or I will experience that issue. All is well now and I can fly again.
  13. Art-J Yes I have used it. But have deactivated it from JSGME. Could it still be affecting what's going on?
  14. So recently I have had some graphics issues crop up that I can't figure out. First the cockpit is jittery panning in and out slightly, both wing roots are missing and I can see right through them into the wheel housings and below, also my plane spawns on a parking spot or in a shelter but there is no taxi ways in front of me and there is water around my plane. I have a fairly new GTX 970 Graphics card and have deleted and reinstalled the graphics drivers. I have also run the DCS World repair to no avail. Anyone ever experience these issues before?
  15. All four of the Hoggit training maps have a tanker you can practice on day or night. They give you radio freqs and tacan freqs to find them with. If you aren't familiar go to the reddit-subreddit-hoggit and on the right side bar there is a download for the TNN training maps. Enjoy
  16. What the OP describes is referred to as an ORI, Operational Readiness Inspection. It is a Wing wide inspection by a higher headquarters inspection team. It will test the full mission capabilities of the particular wing that is being inspected. Every wing has a different mission so load out and full inspection requirements would be predicated by the wings mission. Of course the requirements of the ORI for any wing can't be revealed in this environment due to operations security. I just wanted to set the record straight as to what it sounded like the OP was driving at.
  17. P-Funk, being the OP I have tried using curves however I only resorted to them after many hours of trying without them. I find them an even higher compromise than we already have to deal with so prefer not to use them.
  18. There is no auto AA. That would defeat the whole purpose of learning how to do it anyway
  19. Thanks everyone for your welcomed input. I will continue to practice this important skill and hopefully one day it will all come together.
  20. I am using the CH Fighterstick USB and CH Pro Throttle without rudder pedals
  21. Okay nearly two years of trying to AAR. I either can't stay lined up or when I get connected I can't control my speed. I've watched every video and been tutored in flight and nothing works. It is like an impossibility to me. But why me? Is having rudder pedals an advantage or does it make any difference at all. Oh I will keep trying I'm just a little disappointed right now and don't know where to turn. Trim Trim Trim. Had to get this off my chest
  22. Good answer Addewang. Not trying to beat a dead horse but I also would have felt a little ridiculed with that second answer. Lets play nice we were all there once and It was a bitch.
