Hey all, I was just wondering if anyone knew the exact reason the engines cut off when going over certain vertical climbs (especially with the afterburners on) ? Nothing worse than being in a fight and suddenly having to do an emergency restart. Thanks!

I discovered this recently too. I was able to eliminate the effect somewhat by pulling back 4/5 on the stick. It's annoying to say the least.

I'm sorry, maybe I didn't make myself clear. No matter what I do in the editor, the RWR on any plane does not activate/turn on 9/10 times.

Hi all. I've noticed the RWR doesn't always activate in the editor, more often than not, it won't turn on at all. It doesn't matter which aircraft, the same thing applies. Multiplayer is perfectly fine however. Any ideas?

Thanks everyone. It's good to know I wasn't going crazy or had a fault somewhere. I'm getting used to it now and find I can take my hand off controls and just trim instead. Much smoother for me that way while getting to AO. Odd I know.

Hi all, Just bought the P-51D and I love the change from flying more modern jets. However I can't seem to get it level and stable for longer than a few seconds. It constantly wants to roll right or left, and of course has a heavy nose. I don't have this problem in: A-10, F15, SU27. Checked joystick, checked CTRL+ENTER, checked trim. Tried trimming, but it's like I'm constantly either trimming or wiggling the stick a little. Is it just a natural occurrence to never want to level out in steady flight for more than a few seconds without joystick input?

Hi all, So I've been tootling along in the F-15 for a week, and despite excellent one-on-one coaching, youtube tutorials and the likes. I still have a problem in almost every encounter. I'm often firing 120C's well within range, taking evasive maneuvers and still getting shot down, with barely any kills. Do I need more than 10+ hrs practice in MP to become effective, despite reading a lot, watching videos and being tutored?

Hi all, I'm looking to take advantage of the sales, and get a new plane. Currently flying A10, su27, and F15. But, I quite like the look of earlier planes. However I don't want to get stuck with a plane not many people take advantage of, or even like, in multiplayer. Based on what you've seen being flown online, or from their effective abilities in dog fights and usefulness, what would you recommend? I'm considering the MIG-21BIS, or the Fw 190 D-9 Dora.

We were playing on Blacksea Redemption when things took a turn for the worse, twice!

I too have this problem. Replicated simply by Alt-tab to desktop and coming back in. Anyone else for the same issue?

Hi all, Hoping you can clear up some ATC confusion. When requesting information from ATC for a landing, I'm told to head in a direction for a certain number of miles. 1. Is this directly to the airport, ILS pickup, or similar? 2. How can I count the miles from current position, to the directed position? There has to be an accurate and easy way of doing this, rather than some math. Thank you!

Hi all, I'm wondering. Would the game allow me to use a standard Joystick for axis controls, etc. Along side a Playstation controller, to act as TMS, DMS, Slew, etc? I'm not sure it would allow me to set up the game with BOTH joysticks. Thanks!
