I'm gonna create a poll for you guys to vote. Go ahead. I voted. I'm a loser :D To me, the Betty/Nadia(?) for FC3 and the SU-25T is a bit unrealistic. I don't know much about the Nadia, but I know that most english warning systems don't call out exactly what is wrong. Most of the time, they shout out either a "CAUTION...CAUTION!" or a "WARNING, WARNING! WARNING, WARNING!" (This is about exactly what is said on the F-16C.) The default beep is about 10 years old, and I feel like its about time to create a new system in which aircraft have their own systems for warnings. What inspired me was that I was a bit suprised the A-10A hasn't recived the same warning system as the A-10C. It is upgraded with LASTE, right? Didn't LASTE include the same VMS used in the A-10C? Airspeed too fast? I don't have the Huey (yet), but what I think is that you are either stressing your turns or you are flying at a high speed.

Is there any reason why the original Lock on was rated 7+ by PEGI and DCS FC3 A-10A and Su-25 rated 16+? What's the difference?

EDIT: Had to edit another line in the entry file, instead of assigning cockpit tex. and shapes, you have to do something like "old = 4" in one of the lines.

Hi people. I have a little problem. It seems whenever I go into the controls, it "greys" out more than 3/4 of the controls for my Logitech Extreme 3d Pro. This is really annoying, because now I have to press the spacebar to fire my gun. HALP! :helpsmilie: EDIT: Someone lock this thread, I have figured out the problem. Just needed to go into the files and load the default setup for the joystick. :)

I have one, but I suggest you use the default setup, and edit from it instead of creating an entirely new one. . The buttons on the left are unreliable sometimes. I guess button 11 and 12 can be used for MFD soi, and other commands for short press. I think in default, your hat switch is to move the head, thumb button is to fire munitions other than the Avenger, and trigger is to fire guns. Of course, the throttle slider moves the throttle.

Hello. I have yet to figure out a solution to the problem I have. In the A-10C, I have set the uhf to main, vhf is on, other comms are on, and my VHF set to correct frequency in AM for what I am communicating with (tanker, tower, awacs). The problem is, no matter what I have tried, they don't seem to respond at all. :helpsmilie: Can you guys help me with this?

No, I'm actually a child of the very, VERY early last decade. But I've done some research, and it seems it was a fictional helicopter and show? Also, I've played a game on the NES that had the title Airwolf, and the title has a very similar style as the title card on the show.

I haven't known what'll happen if I shoot down a civillian aircraft yet. EDIT: Well, I could make a script with some help that turns the aircraft side from blue to red based on on time.

I'm trying to make a mission where two F-15C's intercept a Yak-40 suspected to be a Russian transport in civilian disguise. I already set the ROE to hold fire, so they act as if the transport is not confirmed enemy. I am trying to set a "follow" task, but the Yak's group does not show up. Is there any way I could get them to follow the enemy? :dontgetit:

I'm pretty sure it's air cooling. I found this thing called Core Temp that monitors CPU load and temperature. My ambient temperature in the house downstairs is 72 degrees F or 22 degrees C. It lists CPU #0 at 14 degrees C (52 degrees F) minimum to 35 degrees C maximum (95 degrees F). It goes up to 57 degrees C (135 degrees F) max while running DCS' instant action Su-25T ground attack on high settings (EVERYTHING ON HIGH OR TURNED ON). I launched many rockets to max the temps out. Does it sound safe for overclocking? Someone said he reached 4.9 GHz with a couple of "good" fans. I do have one more question. If anyone has CoreTemp, it says Tj. Max. What does that mean?

I'm thinking of overclocking my FX-6300, my settings in DCS as follows: Scenes: Medium Visibility: Medium Shadows: Low Water: Low Textures: High Heat blur: Off Civ. traffic: Off Resolution: 1920x1080 Aspect Ratio: 16:9 Monitors: 1 screen Cockpit displays: 1024 MSAA: Off HDR: Normal Avg. FPS: 30-40, drops to around 20-30 in 3d cockpits, drops to 25-30 crashing on runways with AFM, drops to 5-10 crashing in fields with AFM (skidding across the field) I'm really not sure how to overclock a CPU, so is there any help around here to get me started? CPU Stock is 3.5GHz Goal is 3.7GHz to 4.0GHz if able. I have heard somewhere that AMD CPU's shut down before they melt. That would be a big help, if someone can confirm it. Thanks for any help!
