  1. Requiescat in pace. Was a big fan of the first Ghost Recon and Rainbow Six series. I read a book of his too. :(
  2. Yippee! :P
  3.
  4. ^^ This.
  5. Are all of the planes going to feature at least almost DCS-level fidelity?
  6. Yes, this thread is old but I forgot to tell you OC was successful. Here's the info. OC'ed to 3.9: stable, but I wanted more OC'ed to 4.0: stable, what I use now. OC'ed to 4.2: BSOD's in dense trees in ArmA 2 OC'ed to 4.5: BSOD's on boot up
  7. Because the mig 21 isn't in the game yet. :megalol:
  8. These songs are featured: P-51D - Pacific Fighters US theme, 2004 A-10C - Jane's USAF menu theme, 1999 Flaming Cliffs 3 - DID EF-2000 main theme, 1995 Mi-8 - Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis main theme, 2001 As you can see, they range from 9 years old to 18 years old. Download link: http://www.mediafire.com/?6lvi87c2h9w8nf6 REMEMBER TO BACKUP ANYTHING THAT MAY BE MODIFIED. NOTE: The Mi-8 folder name is not the name for the actual folder, so use common sense to tell which one to put it into. HOW TO INSTALL: Go to your main folder, which is usually in C:\Program Files\DCS World. Go to the folder that says "Mods", Drag down the A-10C, Flaming Cliffs, and P-51D folders. If it asks if you want to replace x file(s), click yes. Open the Mi-8 folder in the download, and do the same for the Mi-8 folder in the mods folder. Extract the contents of the downloaded Mi-8 folder into the Mi-8 mods folder. Again, if it asks to replace x files say yes. You are done. Have fun!
  9. Which one were you?
  10. It does indeed feel easier to fly after flying the Huey, but those rotors on the Blackshark are way easier to tear off because of the Huey's rugged rotors.
  11. Sorry to quote an old post, but I just killed an F-15 with a MiG-29S. You were saying?
  12. Some others Huey Being "transported" in the Huey
  13. Some fun on the heli's only server ------------------------------------------- Joining the Pack The Pack
  14. The huey is a good buy. Very fun to fly. :D
  15. Sadly, this might be true. If anyone can correct me, feel free to do so.
  16. -.- here we go. Once you got something on the radar, and your aiming thingy is over it (:p), press enter. It will lock it.
  17. Lol, what did you read, last spring's news? :megalol:
  18. Any 3DS Max 2013 support yet? :noexpression:
  19. Let me stop you right there. Arma 3 = Infantry focused simulator that doesn't even have a realistic flight model. DCS = High-fidelity flight sim that squeezes as much as it can to make a game realistic. :music_whistling: Now now, it's not like I hate ArmA, I play it myself.
  20. 1. I'm not sure about this. 2. Press I to initiate RWS mode after pressing 2 on the keyboard, or enable the N010 radar in the Russian fighters. 3. It is a bit complicated to use, but here is a manual for the FC2 GUI. Go to page 41 for mission editor tutorials. http://www.185th.co.uk/Flaming%20Cliffs/lockon_fc2_gui_manual_en.pdf 4. As I said, pressing I will turn on the radar. It will show rectangles for enemy units, and circles for friendly units. 5. There is no proper radar for the A-10A, only an RWR and a Maverick sight, assuming you are not using Easy Radar mode. 6. Go around 200-300 mph, press the K key, and pull up. Be prepared to stall!
