Hello Huey Folks, I just have a little question about the Radio Compass..can anybody tell me why it sometimes is completly desycronized at startup, and points in a totally wrong direction?! O.k. I found a thread about the "mag" and "dg" modes..but I don`t really get it..and I am completly confused with the little indicators on the top right (cross and dot)...they change when the little knob on the bottom right is turned..but what do they tell me?! How to set up the Radio Compass at startup?! The Manual doesn`t tell me very much:( Thanks!

yay..I play this Mission for months now...it is really great...a very good navigation and landing training that never get`s boring..just can`t wait for v3.0:thumbup:

There are loads of tweaks and updates we are waiting for, and not just for the Huey...and I guess BST/ED have a really hard time facing a Comunity screaming for gimmicks and spamming wishlists..so..it comes sooner or later..the only thing that keeps really anoying me are the unsolved and sometime even ignored Bugs..

I remember back then in Lock on there was a mod with drawed Lines on the Canopy (for not getting confused while padlocking)..the altered Files were named A-10-PIT-REFLECT.tga. But no real clue about DCS

ja..stimmt..da hast du natürlich absolut Recht. Ich muss ja auch neidlos zugeben, daß ich gerne so ein toller Pilot wie du wäre. Isegrim..allein schon der Name verbreitet Angst und Schrecken auf allen MP Servern...hab ja schon oft gehört daß den meisten die Knie schlottern wenn sie im MP lesen müssen "Isegrim has joined". Mit deinen übermenschlichen Fähigkeiten im Cockpit entscheidest du die meisten Partien ja eh fast im Alleingang. Von solchen Fähigkeiten können die meisten nur Träumen.. Stimmt ich spiele nur im Singleplayer..ich hab einfach Angst davor auf MP Servern von den ganzen Top Cracks nicht aktzepiert zu werden...Ich bin halt echt ein total mieser Pilot...naja und auch deine messerscharfe Analyse mit dem Auto-Hover trifft voll ins schwarze....daran erkennt man deine ganze Erfahrung...einfach nur wow... Leider hab ich auch nicht das Geld mir Pedale zu kaufen, das brauch ich leider für Milch und Brot..ich werde daher wohl auch nie nur annähernd dein Level erreichen. Aber Isegrim..mein absoluter Traum..schon seit Kindertagen..wäre es von dir mal trainiert zu werden...Könnte man das einrichten?! Würdest du mir ein paar Stunden geben?! Das wäre Hammer..ich könnte dann meinen Enkeln noch erzählen.."Kinder, ich bin von Isegrim trainiert worden..dem größten Flieger-Ass seiner Zeit!" Würde das gehen?

I am frustrated...1.2.7 mixed up a lot...some strange things happen with waypoints and triggers now..na..let`s see what I can do..

God damn, I tryied it myself with 1.2.7 today..it is absolutley wrecked again..:( sorry Sondo..I try to fix this awesome Mission a 3rd time..

you could also try to delete the C:\users\saved Games\DCS\Config\input Folder (don`t worry...DCS creats the "input" Folder new at next restart..maybe this has some effect. Edit: oops SiThSpAwN was faster

klar Pedale sind cool, und machen das ganze vielleicht realistischer..aber man kann die DCS Helis völlig problemlos auch mit einem Twist-Stick fliegen..vorallem haben alle Rudder-Trimmer

go to Youtube and search for some UH-1 Cockpit Videos...if you watch 10 Videos, you will most likely have 10 slightly different Cockpits..seems like all the Guys pimp the Huey to fit their needs

o.k. sö what about an automatic startup, or a Huey set to "start from Runway"..have you tried that?!

würd ich aber auch sagen...TrackIR anstöpseln und losfliegen klappt nicht..das muss man einstellen! Danach aber nie mehr ohne..aber zurück zur Kernfrage..also bitte..TrackIR is sehr geil, aber momntan muss er die Seitenruder ja mit der Tastatur bedienen..das geht gar nicht..also erstmal auf das TrackIR verzichten und eine Seitenrudersteuerung her..dabei ist es erstmal egal ob Pedale oder Twist Stick..ich flieg nur mit Twist Stick und hab keinerlei Probleme

The P-51 is a great and challenging Module..I like it..but it feels a little bit missplaced in the DCS World...doing strafe runs against "modern" Tanks is a bit strange

I would say this is the 60s Huey..all the analog Instruments...the only improvement I guess is the Radar Altimeter..
