  1. nur mal grundsätzlich...betrifft das von dir erstellte Missionen, oder hast du dieses Problem auch bei den Sofortstart Missionen?!
  2. finally some improvement on the Villages:thumbup: The WIP Shots look great so far..but I wonder If it would be possible to add some parking places, forecourts or stuff like that...so you don`t have just Buildings on the green Fields:) Anyway great Job, and I am looking forward to this!
  3. Thanks Devrim for your efforts! Unfortunatly I can`t rep you at the Moment:music_whistling:
  4. Hi Skull, what to say...use whatever fits your style of flying best..In reallity there is Rudder Trim, and the Pilots may use it..but you know..DCS is a Computer Game:joystick:
  5. If you completly miss the mi-8mt folder something went wrong. rename the whole .../saved Games/DCS Folder to DCS_old or something and restart the Game..what happens then?!
  6. I don`t know about the Mi-8 but in the UH-1 Rudder Trim is very real
  7. From the Original HUEY Manual: 2 32 Force Trim System Force centering devices are incorporated in the cyclic controls and directional pedal controls These devices are installed between the cyclic stick and the hydraulic servo cylinders and between the anti torque pedals and the hydraulic servo cylinder The devices furnish a force gradient or feel to the cyclic control stick and anti torque pedals A FORCE TRIM ON OFF switch is installed on the miscellaneous control panel to turn the system on or off fig 2 6 These forces can be reduced to zero by pressing and holding the force trim pushbutton switch on the cyclic stick grip or moving the force trim switch to off So..seems like yes :joystick:
  8. I also wondered about that..I mean that Bug is so easy to fix..even the Community "did it" 2 Days after 1.2.6. Pretty annoying
  9. Hi, quick and dirty..you can´t anymore...there is just a "workaround"...equip just the Rocketpods and jettison them Edit: and the Task should not be Transport
  10. haha...yeah the biggest Problem is when you trimmed the Huey for a nice forward flight..land with that Trimmer settings and take-off with this settings again..the Huey becomes a very fast Lawn mower then:)
  11. No matter what I tell them...sometimes they do well, mostly they act stupid and get shot down. Deployment Campaign Mission 9 (the Gundelen Mission), I told my Wingman to attack Datalink Targets...he just solved that Mission nearly alone and killed everything. In Mission 10 where you have to take back the FARP...no matter what orders I have for him he refuses to attack, does nothing and rejoins immediatly, or he gets way to close and get`s hammered by the MANPADS..damn Noob
  12. Hi Erforce, your Guide is really good! I enjoyed it pretty much, but my Wingmen seem to do what they want:music_whistling: So maybe ED changed some Things..I most likely assign my 2nd Wingman no tasks anymore..just 3 and 4. I just attack Targets myself until I run out of Vikhrs, then I jump in the Shark from my 2nd Wingman, and have another 12 Vikhrs. That way most Missions are easy to finish:)
  13. whatever works best for you :)
  14. Hi, reseting the Trimmer works also, but most likely make the Huey jump around..I just press Trimmer - move cyclic to Center while slowing down - release Trimmer - come to a hover - land Just try what works best for you
  15. Hi Gloom Demon, yeah you have to press the Trimmer before repositioning, because if you position the Aircraft without pressing the Trimmer, the settings would overcompensate, and your Chopper goes crazy as soon as you release the Trimmer Button. And the Trimmer just sets the general "mood" for the Chopper..so you don`t have to re-trimm everytime you change direction or pitch. I set the trimmer for a nice forward flight at 80-90 Knots and leave it there most of the Time. And for the landings I pretty much just center the Trimmer...But this is something you have to play around a bit..to find the best way for you. So learning how to Trim is get in your Chopper and play with it, until you get a feel on how it works:joystick:
  16. Hi Slambo, uhm..does DCS even recognize your Throttle?! So do you see it under the Options/Controls Tabs?! Can you assign the Throttle Axis to your Controller?! Step one...go to System Drive/.../saved Games/DCS and rename that Folder to DCS_old or something. Then start the Game and the DCS Folder is recreated automaticaly. What happens then?!
  17. I would guess minimum speed for safe flight best turning/corner speed max speed
  18. Hi, are you using UH-1 Sim or UH-1 Game in the Option/Controls TAB?! First step (as always) would be to rename your System Drive/.../saved Games/DCS Folder to DCS_old or something. Then start the Game and the Folder is recreated new. Check what happens then
  19. Rules...hmmm just trimm how you feel comfortable. What you should do is Trim the Huey in the Hover Position for take-off and landing (Cyclic slightly down left and Rudder slightly left). During the Flight I do it like in the Shark press Trimmer - Position the Aircraft - release Trimmer. Works fine for me
  20. Hi Skull, oh..o.k. I re-download the Skin then:) Thanks Buddy!
  21. it is the LTG65 Skin
  22. Strange...I see that Bug just at that certain angle..if I go around the Skin everything is o.k., but lookin at it like in the Screenshot there appears the missing texture hint:( All other Skins work fine
  23. Hey Mainstay, great Thanks!! uhmm and which one
  24. Hi upuaut, awesome Work..as always, but I have a little Problem with one of your Skins...some missing Texture Issue:) Strangely it just appears at a certain angle..seems like some problem with shadows or something?!
  25. uhmm..this comes with DCS..in the Bin Folder?!?! But I give SiThSpAwN`s Link a try:)
