Just verified this. Mission records properly if you start in the air.

Instant action is the only mission type that records right now. Its a bug. A brutal bug that kills single player.

Why not just have separate X52 profiles?

So there is no way to track your logbook in multiplayer, either? This just seems like a very basic element to have. Been playing flight sims since F-19 in the late 80s...even that had it.

Problem is I'm new to the sim and use it to track my progress. Without a dynamic campaign it's tough to feel any sort of meaning, but without any feedback as well it's nearly impossible.

Little depressing that the single player game is made irrelevant and non-playable with any meaning without scores being recorded.

Where do I even find the module manager and auto updater? I have steam version.

Does anyone know the point levels at which promotions are given?

MiG-23. Not as sexy as the other options, but more varied combat role. Would ultimately get more use. A/A and A-G.

What ever it is, it shouldn't be the F35 or an aircraft about which little information is publicly available. If we want high fidelity it's going to have to be legacy. I think an F4 Phantom and A6E Intruder, or F-105 would be AWESOME in a Vietnam mod. Especially now that we have the Huey.

The F-18E is a shoe in. There has NEVER been a good sim with carrier ops properly modeled. DCS could be the guy that gets it right. However, my vote was for the F-15E. It's still a very relevant aircraft, and the WSO element would add a unique feature to multiplayer gaming. It would be really cool to fly as a pair.

I'm assuming the multiplayer logbook mod doesn't work either? It's not longer on their site to download.

Do we have an ETA on the next patch, or a hotfix to correct this issue? I'm kind of excited to play. I just got into the game this week, and my Warthog HOTAS is in the mail. It seems pointless if the logbook is broken. It's significant enough of an issue that it should warrant a stand-alone fix if necessary, outside of the planned update.

If someone could please let me know if this is normal for me not to get any score or credit in quick missions, I would appreciate it. I'm kinda new so I may be doing something wrong. It's frustrating spending an hour or two in a mission for no reason.

I don't know how RTFM applies to which game modes are most popular in the community. I can't bring myself to use labels. :) I'll have to try online.

I'm not getting credit in the quick missions either. Am I exiting the mission wrong? I land and just click exit. Figures it's recording my ejections...lol

I'm absolutely loving this sim, but coming over from Falcon as I'm sure a lot of you are, I find the campaign very poor. How do you guys play the game most often? How do you give the missions meaning? I haven't ventured into multiplayer yet as I'm just starting to feel competent and as I have a warthog HOTAS in the mail, it's going to take some getting used to when it gets here, so I'm sticking to single player for the time being. I'm finding that in creating a quick mission the JTAC doesn't give enough targets, or they're killed before I get there. Any tips? Why doesn't the A10C have an A-G Radar?
