I'm having this issue now too. Can't map in axis...

For some reason the green cone isn't appearing on my radar while in BVR mode and scanning. My radar is on, I can even see contacts on the MFD at times, but it's not appearing on the HUD and like I said, there is no green cone at all. Anyone know what's going on?

It's impossible for it to have an impact on your computer. All it's doing is reading your debrief log. The website then takes these figures and assigns ranks and awards depending on those variables, entirely independent from your systems. Essentially, it's reading a text file. That is all.

Depends on the crash. As long as DCS created a log file, it will be updated. Again: You must takeoff to initiate data recording. If you start in the air, it will not count.

That's when you want to start the game. You want the program to say "monitoring DCS". It will log your mission data every 90 seconds. 1. Start the program. 2. Fly DCS. 3. Check your profile upon mission completion. You may need to stay in DCS for 90 seconds after your mission if the timing is just right. Otherwise it won't upload your mission until you go back into DCS. The logbook begins recording when you takeoff. If you start in the air, it will not log your mission. We have done this for the sake of realism.

Happy you like it. More will be added tonight, like medals for accumulated flight hours. We have medals implemented for mission activity already.

Would there be any way to include the two knobs below the CDU on the CDU page? The FLT PLN/MRK/MISSION and OTHER/etc knobs? Would make things easier.

Could someone not make a debrief.cfg reader? Could be a 3rd party program that just reads accumulated debrief scores and triggers certain awards at various benchmarks.

It seems odd to me that a tank killer wouldn't be outfitted with radar. My speculation would be that the physical position of the gun and its associated vibrations would have an impact on proper functioning, but does anyone know for sure?

Can anyone confirm whether or not multiplayer is tracked in your logbook via this patch?

In addition to what others have mentioned, you can also use high drag bombs like the Mk-82 Air. If you set the fuse to the tail, they deploy little parachutes so you can drop them at all altitude.

Does that include a MP viable logbook?

I was an alpha and beta tester for WWIIOL. Played the snot out of that game... :( Always wanted a modern version. I think that's the direction DCS is heading with its module releasing. Problem is integrating the detail levels necessary for infantry, and making the flying aspect playable.

It's more accurate over a certain altitude, as the factors you mention will continue to be exponentially exaggerated. I'm just wondering when it's better to use 105s. Over 10,000?

What's the transition altitude where it's better to use the 105, though?

At what altitude is it better to use the 105 over the 97? What other scenarios might call for the 105?

I know you were joking, but that would be such a cool multiplayer feature. An officer's mess, with poker tables, sierra hotel, things like that.

B-17 with fully stocked multiplayer gunner and bombing positions. Man, that would be cool. The bombsight is unique enough to add a nice learning curve too.
