So there you have it. As Gloom explanation that means exploding ARM's is still a bug for me and thank you "eXPeRT" for giving us your feedback's which I agree 90% except that SR ( Search Radar ) are not track-able with ARM's with or without tracking. Then why they are working (not exploding) in the single player with multiple targets inside the SR range ? for me this still a bug that to be addressed. Also KH-58U guidance is Inertial with passive radar seeker.... So even with a Sam Radar tracking you or not the Anti-Radar missile's Radar will go to the last emiting position of the SAM's RADAR TR or SR whatever it is because these missiles not only designed to destroy Sams but also Radar Installations. Its a bug and if some say it is not then please give us HARD proof that these missiles will lock on to specific radars not only SR's (Search Radars). Lock on - FC1, FC2 was the perfect simulation of these missiles. Even when you see earlier version of DCSW there was no bug like this. Since I think I might be wrong from ver. 1.2.4 or 1.2.3 this bug started.

Actually, Multiplayer Issues is not even addressed yet perfectly... MP for after update 1 of 1.2.6 is working but the Load times are way out of hand 5, 6 and sometimes it takes 10 mins to load a server mission. And when you do sometimes join the server there is always this message "Server timed out". Version 1.2.4 and 1.2.5 were the best update ever ! for me. The stability was awesome or still is.

Not enough data is available for DCS F35A it is modeled after youtube vids so why not Su35s... ;) not a convincing answer Penguin :D -

My Answer I will gladly pay 50$ - 90$ if I can fly a Su35s with FC3 Style module because mostly i play multiplayer and I want balance in that because of upcoming DCS f18, f35a, f15e and so on. -

FC3 Style Su35s Module ? OK if had to say that someone is trying to make a Su-35s FC3 style module, how much will you pay for it ? knowning that it will have a payload of R-VV AA missiles and Smart A/G weapons plus it will have extreme maneuverability with 3D vector nozzles (including cobra) and some more detail will also take notice as follows: * Accurate external 3D model. * Advanced flight model ( Same as Su27s but little tweak to match the 35s characteristic ) Also need ED support on this one because they are making AFM for S version only. So, again how much would you pay for a Su35s fc3 style module ? :thumbup: -
Just saw the change log of DCSW 1.2.6 and glad to know there were some changes on the anti ship missiles warhead... will test tonight see how it is working.... :)

They have just released version 1.2.6 and I am stilling updating. So, anyone has still problem with the sead missiles exploding after a locked launch ? They manage to correct this problem in this patch (1.2.6) ?

OK but still... ? This image you posted is of Navy guided-missile destroyer USS Cole (DDG-67) which was attack by a suicide man under water. Interesting thing is that around 400 to 700 pounds (200–300 kg) of explosive were used by the suicide bomber. Kh-31A is around ( 207 pounds ) - approx. 94 kg ( Current Warhead value in DCSW is 90) Kh-31P is around ( 192 pounds ) - approx. 87 kg ( Current Warhead value in DCSW is 90) KH58U is around ( 328 pounds ) - approx. 149 kg ( Current Warhead value in DCSW is 150) OK so, the warheads are correctly valued in DCSW but the damage model of CC and DD class ships are still to be argued. You can easily do the math that how many missiles are to be hit to destroy a CC or DD class ship ? and keep in mind that KH-31 P & A detonation mechanism is on IMPACT meaning when they hit they will penetrate the target and then explode. Optional reading: Some note on the KH58U - Western sources have referred to a Kh-58A that is either optimized for naval radars or has an active seeker head for use as an anti-shipping missile - it probably represents another name for the Kh-58U. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_Cole_bombing

Yep... Exactly My Friend !... This what we were doing in FC2. We manage to destroy the radar with anti-radar weapons until the ship radar is destroy and pounce on the crippled vessel and finally finishing it with ground weapons. This is what we are missing DCSW.

Yes, I agree lets split the Anti-ship stuff and also lets split stuff about Anti-radar missiles Warheads and their detonation Mechanism.

There is no proof what you are saying. And definitely you don't need swarms of anti-ship missiles to sink the carrier, it will only take some numbers in 20's to destroy the carrier. And Russia ain't stupid to make advance Anti-ship missiles so it can fire swarms of them, it made them effectively to breach the hull of the ships then detonate hence causing havoc and chaos finally destroying and sinking the ship or carrier in less numbers of missiles...... not SWARMS of missiles :huh:

Regarding KH-58U I admit it explodes before impact and it is modeled correctly but still when playing on multiplayer it still explodes 2 or 3 secs after launch and need to be addressed.

again point is it will not take 30 to 40 both Anti-radar or Anti-ship missiles to take down a CC or DD class ship.... Simple :doh:
