Did I miss something? I started up DCS World and downloaded a rather large update. Once the game started up the "News" tab told me the Bf109 was ready to download but when I follow the link it tells me the files aren't available. Were they taken down?

Thanks for the responses guys. Uboats, your mod did the trick. I especially like the sub-folders for the kneeboard. I had been working with the Airbase data table from the supplements section of the FW 190D9 manual. It lists different frequencies for the 200 MHz range and I was trying to use them for the Sabre. Not sure if it is a mistake or I am misunderstanding what those frequencies (in the Dora manual) are for. Anybody know?

HI, can someone please explain to me (or point me in the right direction at least) how to talk with ATC in the Sabre? I am not able to tune in to any tower and when I look in the mission editor to the radio channel presets the lowest frequency allowed is 225 Mhz and ALL the towers are at a lower frequency. What am I missing here? :(

I still need some clarification. I already own and fly the DCS P51 in DCS World and I have the option to select as a reward the DCS FW190 which I could then fly in DCS World maybe even as soon as April. If I do nothing else but select AS A REWARD the DCS FW190 and ignore choosing any "flyables" will I be able to later fly my currently owned DCS P51 and DCS FW190 in DCS WWII when it is released? Or do I need 4 keys: DCS P51, DCS FW190, DCS WWII P51, and DCS WWII FW190 in order to fly the Dora & P51 both now and later when DCS WWII is realeased?

This is very cool; thanks for posting it. I am wondering if there is a way to set this up so that when I am flying the Ka-50 only the relevant images show up. Right now I get the P-51 images showing up both when I fly the P-51 and the Ka-50. I have built some practice missions with a little of everything, A10-C, Ka-50, P-51, etc. I would like to make the keycommands for each of these available but it will get really tedious scrolling through a dozen images to find what you need. Is there a way to filter or map it so that each aircraft only gets the appropriate images for its kneeboard?

I finally figured it out. The update caused my firewall exception to stop working. For some unknown reason DCS.exe was no longer recognized even though it was correctly mapped in the exception. Once I deleted and recreated the exception I could connect again. As regards my comment on ED support: my tickets were passed on to a different support tech and I have received good responses in a timely manner since then.

Hi, I need help getting my multiplayer working again. Earlier this evening I was able to log onto the master server just fine and put up a server of my own but my friend was not able to join. We figured out that it was because he had installed the latest update and I had not. So I installed the latesest DCS World update. I got a message saying the update installed successfully but now when I try to connect to the master server my game stops responding. I have to go to task manager to close it but the DCS.exe and Launcher.exe continue to run in the background. Sometimes there are 2 or 3 of each running silmultaneously. I try to kill them on the processes tab by "end process" but get the "access denied message". Please, please help me get my connection back. As an aside: the above paragraph is word for word what I posted in my support ticket. This the 4th ticket I have submitted since I first started with DCS last July. I have never ever received any kind of response from them. Two of my tickets are listed as still open and are 2 months old. Has anyone here ever actually gotten any help or even response from tech support?

AI Dora has superpowers So glad to have found this thread. I first I thought I was just the worst fighter pilot ever, then I thought I was crazy. After weeks of trying, only to get shot down again and again (usually by a single round) I finally shot the tail off the AI Dora only to see her grow a new one. Unfortunately no screenshot but I do have this after a ground attack with rockets where you can see all the extra tails the Dora carrys. That is the wreckage of a single aircraft. I too have turned the AI into a sieve with with smoke billowing and have seen no decernable ruduction in performance. I love this sim but I really, really hope this gets fixed. It seems strange that with all the energy that has gone into making the FM as close to real as possible some energy would be put into the damage model as well. Hopefully DCS WWII won't have this error.

@ cichlidfan, thanks, problem solved! My browser zipped the download and I extracted to the training folder. I guess the sound files were what 7-zip recognized to extract. I deleted the extracted files, renamed the download to .miz and am good to go. Massive debt of gratitude to BigfootMSR for making and offering these missions to the community; I only wish I had found them sooner.

After days of frustration I finally found the link to the Ka-50 interactive missions and was so happy!!! I downloaded them and put them in my training folder (C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Mods\aircrafts\Ka-50\Missions\EN\Training\BS2_Weapon Employment_Training) but my game does not recognize them. The downloaded missions have a file extetion: .ogg rather than .miz. I also have several missions that came with my original download that have a .ogv extension and these missions also do not show up for me to select. What am I missing here? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
