Hi Guys, Well my old TIR2 is giving full head movement and in Enhanced mode too. If you scour these forums there is a software workaround I DLed the day after I installed BS. But I am expecting TIR4 and clip this week. I am worried about what other gadgets I will now be tempted to buy.... As someone who has been simming since zx spectrums were the pc of choice(!) this Sim is the piece de resistance. A quite astonishing level of commitment to detail and credible realism by ED has given the simming community the best experiences we could hope for, from Lock On to FC and now BS. EXTRAORDINARY work. And hours of fun. I miss my wife though, but she hasn't complained yet!

Dont think I'm ready to fly on-line!

Well, I jumped through all the hoops, Webmoney, Ukash, etc, and with Repent's excellent guide, I got myself the Russian version! But its gonna be a lot more hard work to get any good at this sim. Need the manual really....

:pilotfly:I pretty much only fly the 25's, and the A10 a bit, I just love the ground pounding role. I have just modded my X45 stick with a 14" extension and I swear it has improved the control of the 25t no end. Basic geometry, longer stick=smoother control/smaller increments. I recommend it! I like to set up small practice missions with some AAA covered tanks and trucks in interesting terrain. The 25 is a better handle than the 25t, sure, but I like all the bells and whistles with the Schkval systems. Never been big on jet-fighter dogfighting, prefer the Il2 variety for that, but haven't done much since Lock on appeared. Dont get online really, bit nervous of it. And very much looking forward to the Black Shark....:megalol:

Best Helo Sim I have been simming since zx spectrum(!) days. But seriously, I have very fond memories of Hind / Apache series by Digital Integration (cant believe I remembered that company's name!). I have tried the modded version of EECH, but I seem to always end up in a Hind with a non-functional MFD in a cockpit that looks like it was made out of leftovers. Still pretty good though, and I loved it when it first came out. Looking forward to Black Shark of course, but the start up routine looks pretty high maintenance. I hope it will be playable as well as authentic. :pilotfly:
