Hello, Steam Version OB 2.5.6.50979 So, as you can see in the pics. light penetrate the walls into in cockpit internal gauges and light them up even were the sun should be unable to light it due to no LOS! This happen from the front and back of the cockpit! KA-50 Light Bleed Cockpit bug.trk Maybe it will get fixed with the introduction of BS3 but I wanted to report it just in case. I hope it to get fixed soon.

I would like to fly it, sadly it's classified no even in 20 years from now unless we are living in a new world were that the classified stuff of that nature doesn't matter anymore!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this. I believe that the world is changing fast and rapidly now and old mentalities don't fit anymore or not for the long term. DCS is so good for it's study level air crafts and in this it's the one and only military game/sim (Aerial!!!). On the terms of ground breaking developments I just don't see it there. and ED seems to have found that the only way to make money is just by more and more air crafts to sell... but the most cool aircraft is already here or in development! So, after that what ED is left with is to work on very similar air crafts to what we already have and it will be boring thus very low demand! My attempt here is to help shift the focus and money income from only selling modules to selling features. Because as I said the best (only) feature in DCS now is high fidelity air crafts, but the game could be way more than that! Combined Arms if made well and shown more love some what like steel beasts style (On high fidelity Tanks) will bring a lot of fans to it. DCS is Digital Combat Sim. that mean Land, Sea and Air... where DCS is at now is DAC (Digital Aerial Sim.) And I don't feel or see this going on forever! FS 2020 was very scary and close miss, if they would have implemented military stuff it would have been very stressful if not game over for DCS. Obviously the year 2020 is very critical year not only for DCS but for so many entertainment business out there, And we are seeing unions and countries being over thrown! I have been here flying in the game before it was DCS, and would like to see it becoming way better, in short and I won't give examples here about 15 years not a lot have been made in what's now call DCS, but more stuff to fly... Were other companies have taken over a huge amount of the simming market. It's time to wake up and fast. I really hope to see DCS something like ARMA but on way higher fidelity level for Land and Sea and Air... But what do I know maybe I'm mistaking.

Hello, I believe that we should decide for the game and support that with money to push it forward, and here's how: So, I suggest to have a Universal Voting Mechanism for what features we want to see in the game-engine (game in general) and what Modules of Aircraft we want in the game...etc! There are so many ways about it I'll share what I have in mind, and I'm also interested to see whether you like it or whether you have better alternative. Game Features Voting Page: should have a dedicated Section on the Forums that the Community can go to Vote and see what's being voted for and again top 1 should be the most voted for therefore should be the most wanted thing in the game hence should be worked on first next come top 2 and so on, and the Votes should be updated always so it allows ED's and the Community to see what's next on the list that can be changed be votes. And that should make us way happier to know that all the focus of the development team is where we want it to be as a supportive community... And should give ED better understanding of what the Community is asking. DCS Modules Voting Page: Should have a dedicated section too as the above but here in this one if people are real about what they are wishing for they should have an option to prepay for that thing... And the mechanism for it should be the following: Round One: 1- Community vote for an Aircraft, I expect that to be with Voting Tickets (VT). 2- ED should study the vote whether it can happen or not. 3- Only if it can happen, the voted Aircraft should make it to a list. Round Two: 1- The voted Crafts from Round One make it to a list of the most voted, and again top 1 should be expected to be developed first. 2- Community whom are very excited about it have an option to prepay for it. Prepayers should be grant a discount on the final product if the prepaid amount is less than that of the price. Voting for anything should push it to the top of the list and that should move the focus of ED to it to finish it first and obviously bring it the ED's attention. And to vote ED can decide on how to give Voting tickets that are used to vote! so e.g. let's say if you buy something from ED that cost 60$ you get 6 Voting tickets (VT) or 2 or whatever ED's sees best that allows you to use them to vote for what you want to! DCS Tool Box: Is a paid option that ED offer in the game shop or on steam or other platforms were ED detail/explain to the community that by paying for this you allow us to work on a list of things (explained by ED) that are out of the Voting system and so on. E.g. Dx12 support or stand alone support for VR...etc. Buying DCS Tool Box is an extra option for the community to decide and contribute. NOTE: ALL I HAVE MENTIONED HERE IS TO HELP ED AND HELP US, SO I EXPECT IF THIS HAPPEN, ED SHOULD BE MORE TRANSPARENT AND HONEST, AND THIS IS IN NO WAY TO HELP ED GET MORE MONEY AT THE CURRENT LEVEL OF ISSUES KNOWN BY THE COMMUNITY. Everything here is subject for your inputs. That what I have in mind, please feel free to share your though on it.

I have a not bad programming background and I can understand what they are going through! but seeing the kind of bug we're having I start to wonder about the cleanness of the code and about that they should redo the code from ground up with the experience they have now! So yeah. And also the business model that they trapped them selves in (Free to Play), is also questionable whether it's good long term (no it's not!). but finally it's noticed that there is change on the way. I hope it's for good.

Just seen this madness now UNBELIEVABLE WTH ED?! Like come on!!! If ED to do fix the Game-Engine every damn thing except the Game-Engine Development should be put on hold. Seriously. I know I'm dreaming. Edit: To rush out Vulkan and other game-engine fixes...

Hello, So, as you can read in the Title relativity poor performance, The PC specs are: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X. KFA2 RTX 2080Ti EX 11gb VRAM. 32gb RAM. Sandisk Extreme Pro 500gb M2 NVMe SSD. ASUS TUF B450-PLUS Motherboard. Windows 10 Pro obviously. WMR Samsung Odyssey + VR Headset 1600x1440 DPi per eye. Below Nvidia settings: NVIDIA_System_Information_04-11-2020_02-44-46.txt Below are the Settings and FPS: So, in the vid. below he achieved 90FPS in VR! Any idea why the FPS seams to be locked on 45 FPS, flying on screen the FPS is about 60-70 (where it should be way higher like 140...), Where is the bottleneck?! How to achieve 90 FPS in VR? BTW 45 FPS in VR was only achieved after shader optimization by a guy on YT Lukas S./Wolta. before that was between 30-40! Something is wrong!!! Edit: Even on the Lowest Setting in the game it's still 45 FPS, that's a Freaking bad joke... I appreciate your help.

Well, thank for your effort but that's not correct because I have made a mistake! the 1870 and 550 are in liters... 550 liters of kerosene is 440kg... Also in the track you can see that I opened the cross feed valve. but if you saw the track and it appeared that the X-feed was closed then it's because the track replay in DCS is a re-simulation of what happened and it does have many bugs.

OMG! I would like to have it modeled so e.g. if start up was done many times wrong that would affect the amp age and leave the battery with no enough power to start the helo like in cars... -
Also, according to the Manual (1-9) it should have internal fuel of 1870kg internal fuel and 550kg for the external tank, What happened to that? Edit: It's 1870 liters and 550 liters so it's correct.

Hello, According to the Manual the Consumption for single engine is 137g / (hp*hr)! (Manual 1-3) So, if we have the 2 engines and ~102kg fuel (7%) that should fly us about 10 mins! And if we fly with 1 engine Flying time should be about 20 mins! But that doesn't happen! with single engine it flies for about 12 mins. way off! Track: KA-50 Flying With Eng 2 Fuel bug.trk If there is something I'm missing please tell me. Conclusion: Flying with 1 or 2 engines make no impact on the Consumption! So, even when flying with 1 eng. it's as if it's flying with 2 engs. but with 50% the power! If it's a Game-Engine thing other aircraft might be affected as well. Edit: Note: I was flying with No weapons, no Gun Ammo, X-feed valve open, Gear Up and with Single Engine. I hope to see it fixed.

Thank you guys but problem still there! I'm and others are sure about it Check below... I'm dead sure it wasn't this way. Also when cockpit update ruin the landing lights... Now what could ruin the Flight Model!? Maybe Missiles data change?! Or something else... Anyway it's still there.

Hello, After 1 hour of testing, I recorded this vid. below to demonstrate the issue: http://www.mediafire.com/file/5f5wzl0ltl8rm05/Digital_Combat_Simulator_Lighting_Bug_-_Flying_Bulbs_2020-03-29_18-32-59.mp4/file (The video will be deleted in 14 days from the date of this post) As you can see in the vid. after the lighting update about a month ago, I started seeing light bulbs moving in the sky (aircrafts), BTW same for Ground Vehicles! It appears that its affecting Air crafts and Ground vehicles. The light bulbing effect is visible from ~10.5km to about ~79km! below or further than that it's not. Tested with KC-135 large aircraft. The size of the Aircraft seems to have a role in this P-51 bulbing not visible from below 3km. Conclusion it seems to be a some kind of Reflection due to Moon Light. (I don't believe that Moon's light can introduce such reflection my self never seen this of Moon light!). It's only visible under Moon light. I hope this helps and to see it fixed soon.

It's barely there! That's why if that machine get implemented we need better sensors SIMULATION e.g. Ray Tracying RADAR that is based on how real sensors work...etc.

Hey ED, How about a F-117 test pilots whom welling to work with you to produce a F-117 for DCS? I think now is a great time to have study level F-117 that a lot of people are asking for, and which will add a whole new level to DCS. F-117 Test Pilot Lt.
