That seems to make sense since it also works fine in multiplayer, only single player missions have issues. also seems to be three monitor setups or the rift having issues

OK, I was able to buy it, and download it in module manager. but when I try to play it it says it needs activated. I'm at a loss and getting frustrated. never had this kind of problem before. also it doesn't show up in the file explorer. normally you can see the individual missions in the campaign

When I try on the website it says need another product underneath the download button. the only thing I can assume is it thinks I don't have BS2 but I tried re-downloading BS2 and it says everything's fine. I just flew a mission to make sure

I think what is being represented is your head hitting canopy and it knocking you unconscious for a bit. happens to me in all small cockpit planes when bunting over too fast

I want to chime in. First of all, its a SIM. There will never be a perfect solution to spotting distance until the sims get to the point where we are actually flying around the sky in real aircraft, and that ain't happening. Secondly, military aircraft are CAMOFLAUGED. They are supposed to be hard to see. I fly LSA all the time and on a clear sunny day I can spot a R22 @ 3,000 feet from around ten miles if the sun is behind me. There are tricks one can use in real life that just don't work on a monitor. I personally think the update and solution is a real step in the right direction, and it's still in beta. I'm sure it will be refined. DCS is the best and really the only sim of this caliber, and I appreciate the hell out of all the work that is put into it.

The thing I am noticing is, and correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems the HDR effect of everything getting dark around you when looking into the sun is working on the wrong monitor. The sun flare is biggest on my middle (main) monitor but the HDR effect is on the right monitor when the sun is in the middle of it. I'm not sure if I could have a setting wrong or something, but it seems odd as I'm playing. I have attached a short track. I tried to upload logs and nfo file but it says invalid file .trk

i'm sure this goes hand in hand but I notice that ATC tells me to take off and land downwind as well.

Seems like the warning buzzers and comms work, but the world sounds like wind noise and the like, even some engine noise is missing.

I had pretty good luck the other day against 4 v4 AI mig 15. Took down 3 of them. one tried to dive straight down and hit the water, and the other two I took out with guns. I had a 100 kt speed advantage, lagged him until he went vertical and when I had the whole planview of his aircraft I put the pipper in the center of the fuselage right at the wing root and it took about 20 bullets. They both flamed and went down the same way.

I have had it happen in the intercept mission as well but only when firing in a right bank turn.

Is there a FW-190 flyable mod, a f-18 flyable, and a l-39 flyable? I see ppl flying them online but I cant find them.

I guess I am kind of slow when it comes to editing files. Can someone tell me how to make the cannon switch in f-15c come on when I depress the first stage trigger and off when I release it and still have the fire command on the second stage?

As for the steering key commands they must be held to affect turn ability or full 360 castering (depending on the key in question). try mapping them to a switch like whats on the warthog that you can leave on without holding it. One disengages the steering from the rudder. The other increases the amount the wheel turns by 30 degrees or so.

I thank all of you for the advice. What is confusing me is that there is virtually no difference in FPS between all settings on low and all settings on high. Maybe 2FPS difference.

What would you recommend for a graphics upgrade? I kinda like my three monitor setup so I want that capability. It did help some when I overclocked the processor. Its only stable on turbo tho, gets a little funky turned al the way up.

I guess I thought the 6970 was a great video card...lol but when I built the system I knew virtually nothing about gaming computers.

2G on the 6970. I have. right now its at 5760x1080. It helps a bit on one monitor but I doesn't really fix the problem. I have heard of ppl getting 30-50 fps on three monitors with a comparable system.
