Complete and utter QA failure. Two bricked throttles on two different pc's.

Asus P6 SE, throttle and stick using on board USB, NO power running to throttle on shut down. Two Bricked within four weeks of each other. No other USB or voltage issues to date since pc build. Serial #: 04923 (last one)

Fact, just spoke to TM support, they have narrowed in the issue to Asus mobo's. While there is the occasional non-Asus motherbord failure the majority by far use the same USB chipset as used on Asus boards.

Second Warthog just bricked, no lights, not even 'usb device not recognised'. Asus P6 mobo, latest firmware (installed as soon as I got replacement throttle) Seems that TM have admitted there is a problem with Asus motherboards.

I agree, A5 spiral bound with hard cover. Nah, too expensive. We need a publisher to bring the cost down.

My experience with TM tech support has been a complete nightmare, finally I have received confirmation that the replacement throttle has been shipped along with a tracking number, however, TM support (French) forgot to tell me with WHO the parcel was being shipped WITH. SO if anyone in the UK or EU has had a new Warthog HOTAS or part shipped would you kindly tell me who they use to ship? Many thanks in advance update: It's Colissimo.fr

My new Warty throttle has died, it's only four weeks old, I get 'un-recognized device', it has always been connected to the main board usb port. I contacted TM and they emailed me the instructions to fix the issue however it refuses to ID itself even through bootloader mode. Following that I tried it on two different pc's and numerous other usb ports as well as usb hubs with no success. I DO get the green lights when I plug it in but they disappear when I try to connect using boot loader mode. Is there anything else I can try? Specs: Asus P6 Intel 980 W7 Ultimate Gainward GTX 480 I never bothered with Target or flashing firmware so it's a factory throttle.

Having shelled out for the TM A10 Hotas I'm now ready to invest in a SSD drive which drive do subscribers rate? I am looking to balance performance with cost so considered the OCZ 180GB Vertex 2. Thanks in advance

Both Mithandra and I created and joined each others servers but the sim crashes after a couple of minutes. Mithandra also had connection problems where I could see him on the server as a spectator but he couldn't see the lobby or me. He allowed the .exe through his firewall but I believe his fwall may still be not 'cleanly' connecting him. He uses a router and has set the sim's mp port in his rules. Any ideas?

If someone doesn't have pedals what's the best position on the Cougar/Warthog for rudder?

I am super-impressed with the TM hog, the QC, tactile response etc is superb. IN trying to avoid the problems other hog-owners have had I installed the HOTAS to my main board usb slots in the hope I'll avoid similar problems. My next task is to complete my 360 turn without deviating too much, I am struggling to maintain a constant turn angle, could trim have a role here?

What's M/R on the Warthog HOTAS flap list? I have UP/DOWN and M/R. I should use (UP) for takeoff and (DOWN) for free flight?

I just got the TM Warthog today but 'trim' (which is my HAT stick) seems set to camera for some reason. I haven't installed t.a.r.g.e.t yet as I want to try the default settings.
