  1. Ok, understood, keep up the good work :thumbup:
  2. noooooooo...ooo :megalol:
  3. Dear Polychop, Seeing your 'Secret Gazelle Multi-Crew server' in the MP list today is like holding a juicy steak just out of reach to a starving dog. :lol: Please accept MC testers on your super secret server! Regards DNA Cowboy
  4. Nice, mate, you did a good job on that, looks wonderful in wood too. ps. Crosswinds look awesome as well.
  5. Excellent mate, excellent, however, is the stick stable enough at that angle for you?
  6. Once the 'splodge' appears following LATCH ON that's it, until you end the DCS process and restart. Also, check the colours OF the 'splodge' they seem to match the colours of my aircraft skins, both the fuselage and the markings, in my case yellow, brown and khaki. Coincidence or something more? I wonder, perhaps we could test by removing our 'skin' mods, running DCS and testing. Better yet, remove all mods then test perhaps?
  7. I discovered that the 'yellow splodge' appears when you hit LATCH ON and at no other time, but that is specific to me, perhaps, for others, something else causes the issue....
  8. Agreed, reported bug, along with that line of graphic corruption that appears and disappears.
  9. excellent stuff! Also, for anyone interested WheelStandPro UK now have the HOTAS 'stick' adaptor in stock, ask for 'Stan'. http://www.wheelstandpro.co.uk/ regards
  10. My good friend Mith (see above) had a very good suggestion, perhaps the specific 'blocky' issue is Windows 8. His pointer corruption is 'yellow splodge' while mine is the 'blocky, 3 spot corruption (see OP image) He has exactly the same rig, the only difference two things: 1: His card is a EVGA, mine is the Gainward 2: He is running W10 while I'm on 8.1 We are using the same NVidia drivers (Gainward is using the Nvidia reference drivers), the exact same VR headset (OR) and exactly the same HOTAS setup.
  11. Hey, I tried that with no success I'm afraid. :-( Yes, I entered Safe Mode then used the Nvidia Driver Uninstaller after I upgraded to my new Gainward 1080, the weird thing is that the issue occured on both the Gainward 970 AND the 1080! I do not have my rig overclocked, so the only fix I can now attempt is a clean install of OB and see if that fixes the issue. :-(
  12. thanks very much! I'll try repair and then re-install drivers. Ok, repair didn;t change anything and the corruption was there on the GTX970 AND on my new 1080....strange
  13. Guys, I have any annoying problem with the pointer, instead of a single white spot I get the above, my good friend Specter from the 42nd VFG has the exact same rig with exact same drivers yet he does not have this issue, so I'm wondering if an option within DCS has caused the issue... Any advice would be amazing, thanks in advance RESOLVED FIRST OF ALL, I THINK WE SHOULD THANK SUBSCRIBER 'JaBoG32_Prinzartus' FOR THIS PERFECT FIX. THIS ISSUE OCCURS ONLY WHEN THE USER RIGHT CLICKS DESKTOP 'PERSONALIZE' THEN 'DISPLAY' AND CHOOSES 'LET ME CHOOSE ONE SCALING LEVEL FOR ALL MY DISPLAYS' AND ONLY IF THE SIZE SELECTED IS ABOVE 125%. IF THE USER SELECTS INSTEAD 'CHANGE THE SIZE OF ALL ITEMS' THE POINTER REMAINS UNAFFECTED, SO THIS IS YET ANOTHER OF THE DREADED 'SCALEABLE FONTS 4K MONITOR ISSUE' SO WELL-KNOWN TO THE 4K USER COMMUNITY. SO IN CONCLUSION: REDUCE YOUR FONT SIZE TO NO MORE THAN 125% OR SET YOUR DISPLAY TO 'CHANGE THE SIZE OF ALL ITEMS' UNTIL ED PROVIDES SCALABLE FONTS IN THE VR GUI I will inform ED of the fix, hopefully, they will incorporate the fix asap as us 4K peeps need our 150% (minimum!)
  14. Really? My bud has these on order and may get the Wheelstand pro, what size drill bit did you use and can you then use the existing, supplied bolts or did the adaptation require your own?
  15. Hey, you need to ring the Netherlands office 31 (0) 36 30 200 21 and ask for 'Justin', say 'Steve in England' referred you. The company has a superb customer service and their shop offers cheap delivery. ****edit: Wheelstand Pro UK now has the adaptor: http://www.wheelstandpro.co.uk/ or ring 078 772 300 59 and ask for 'Stan', say Steve referred you, hopefully, you'll get a small discount, my bud Mithandra made a saving of £30 on 2 pro's and the adaptor. Good luck! 34cm from base rail to top of outer (black) sheath: Hope that helps. Thanks buddy!

  17. Wow, just wow I really want to thank the OP for clueing me up to Wheelstand Pro, as I had been racking my brains for a setup that allowed me to carry out my daily office routines AND have a sim rig I can quickly slide into place and this my friends, is it. The build quality is amazing, the assembly is so simple even I could do it and the kit contains every possible plate, screw, bolt or piece you might need to build your customised setup, they even threw in two quality drop forged spanners! I ordered on a Friday and the kit arrived Monday morning sharp if I'd ordered on a weekday the delivery would most definitely have been next day. I love you my perfect leader, I mean Wheelstand Pro! This is what you need, the Warthog HOTAS adaptor, essentially a small base plate connected to exactly the same type of quality metal the Wheelstand is made from, you just unscrew the joystick baseplate (4 screws) then screw the new small plate to the stick (i used the same screws that came with my original Warty stick but the adaptor comes with a bag of quality screws if required) and finally insert the new pole with the new baseplate attached to the wheelstand, lock down the super strong levers and you are done. :-) UK: https://www.wheelstandcentre.co.uk/producten/wheel-stand-pro-125/spare-parts/hotas-warthog-joystick-adapter.html US: http://www.wheelstandpro.us/xparts-hotas-warthog-joystick-adapter/
  18. Actually, I was referring of course, to the F35B not the F35 which has been flying for considerably longer and does not have the incredible Royals Royce Lift System which is the Holy Grail sought since the start of the Jet Age.

  21. Senior military officials in the UK suggest that risk adversity is really starting to impact the psychology of troops and the implementation of robust combat training, which is so sad when Who Dares Wins mentality got us where we are. :(
  22. An RAF F35B and two USMC F5B's along with two F-35A versions, will display at the annual Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) show & at Farnborough Air Show 2016. They arrived from Elgin about an hour ago I believe, this is the very first time the F35B has been seen outside the continental United States and really should be something special to witness. However, the bad news is the massive reduction in high energy manoeuvres allowed at the shows following the Shoreham accident and although the F35B's will carry out vertical landings they will not park up, instead return to Fairford. I am so worried about what these new, knee-jerk conditions will mean for UK aviation business as plod have also closed the roads around the shows making the impact even worse, so expect long delays. Also, the Red Arrows, the best display team in the world, will NOT be able to carry out their exceptional displays at all, instead we will witness a declawed version, the fly-past. edit.   23. Well, on both BS2 and AC10C the aircraft are terribly elongated in both external and internal view mode. :-( The monitor hardware is: main monitor: 3840x2160 2nd monitor: 1920x1200 The 2nd monitor on BS2 is to display Shikval & Central MFD Black Shark 2: _ = function(p) return p; end; name = _('4k'); Description = '4k'; Viewports = { Center = { x = 0; y = 0; width = 3840; height = 2160; viewDx = 0; viewDy = 0; aspect = 1.25; } } Shkval = { x = 3840; y = 0; width = 960; height = 1200; } ABRIS = { x = 4800; y = 0; width = 960; height = 1200; } The setup on A10C is that the 2nd monitor displays L/R MFD's AC10C _ = function(p) return p; end; name = _('Steve's A10'); Description = 'Steve's A10'; Viewports = { Center = { x = 0; y = 0; width = 3840; height = 2160; viewDx = 0; viewDy = 0; aspect = 1.25; } } LEFT_MFCD = { x = 3840; y = 0; width = 960; height = 1200; } RIGHT_MFCD = { x = 4800; y = 0; width = 960; height = 1200; }
  24. Nothing, at all, they are without doubt the best attack helicopter in the world bar none with the Rolls Royce engines and UK defence suite; however, they need replacements and the little used ones upgraded to the AH2. Remember, the FCR that sets the Apache apart had to be removed quietly on the American versions as the General Electric T700-701 engines couldn't take the weight in country, subsequently, Lockheed replaced the 701 with the 701D but even with that the FCR couldn't be re-added as the Rolls Royce engines produces an incredible 2100 SHP even though it is lighter and smaller! ${1} LONGBOW FCR
