Well I was thinking about acceleration, and you did write accelereation yourself, and you wrote that the high thrust of the f35 makes the low acceleration of the chart a LOL. Well something like that ;) I just thought you forgot about airframe weight and aerodymaics, carrying more fuel, when making that comment about acceleration.
-
Please explain why you guys think that chart is wrong. I see high thrust is mentioned, but what about airframe (aerodynamics), weight (aiframe weight and the fact that they probably carry alot more fuel, even at 50% ). I am not saying its right, not at all, I have no idea actually, I just want to know more :) Edit: Since this was moved from the photo/vid thread I edit to explain that this post was in response to some posts about the chart above. I hate to be captain obvious, but you should try removing also the cloud mod and see if this helps. Ill leave the more advanced troubleshooting with the files you attached to some more experienced forum users. GL

Deadsmell its a shame your post was filled with extreme overreaction, if it wasnt we still could have had a discussion and perhaps gotten some answers from you on what a training video should be like to make you feel less bored. In my opinion it was perfect for the purpose of learning to start up, it was not boring and Hammer did an excellent job, I really felt like I should listen to him carefully and follow his instructions, it felt real to me. We are not "applauding failure" we are applauding it because we like it, its very simple, that specific comment is very insulting. Its too bad that by overreacting and getting yourself banned you have locked yourself out of this discussion, your input would have been interesting, now you are just out. Maybe a lesson learned until next time..

Yes thats exactly what it is, I remember the cockpits looking like that before they changed them into what was in the lockon release. -
Wow, I have read many times that the superhornet is a "pig" but this is much worse than I thought.

I liked that part too, but also because its a good view of the new nevada terrain. -
I just looked, its left windows button + numpad2 for shkval and left win + numpad5 for hud, and left win + other num keys for other panels.
-
Yes there is, I dont know the keys right now, but there definately is. It should be in the manual, or just look in the key commands ingame.

You need the latest patches first, so dont start making missions until you patched.

There is another thread where kegetys has answered:

I didnt mean/write just one tree. You have never seen a forest? It was a problem in BS, units placed close to the edge of a forest. Depending on which direction you came in from it could be impossible to see them, but they can (and do) see and shoot at you through the trees. But I think in DCSWH we will solve this by flying higher, that wasnt always a valid option in BS, so this might not be as big problem in the A10C as in BS. Altitude and all those interesting weapons and the targeting pod could make this problem not so big anymore.

I am not an expert but I expect they have thought about that type of attacks, otherwise they would be idiots LOL I dont expect them to remove the datalinks and computers from modern combat aircraft. Like I said, I am no expert, and its time for me to eject from this thread, its very late here.
-
Yeah you are right, thats insane, so lets stop using computers in our planes ;) Give her some slack, she is only five years old :) Edit: She was two years old when that article was written, not five.
-
Wow, thats crazy! Good thing they made it. Everyone who has ever used a computer knows crazy random **** can and WILL happen :D Does this mean we should all stop using computers?
-
Yeah I know :music_whistling:

You talk about survival.... Bad SA will get you killed. That is NOT "irrelevant". Think before you post plz!!! Thanks..

Yeah looks great, they are catching up. I would love to fly the Su35 and in that cockpit :D If you see my post page 3 I wrote that it isnt very likely we will see this as a DCS module soon. I hope I am wrong about that.

If it sucks it sucks. Is there some law of nature that says that something cant suck because it was made in russia? And besides I didnt say russian hardware sucks anyway, I said IN MY OPINION those kind of cockpits suck, please read again, and if you dont understand then perhaps a few more english lessions are needed. I have respect for the fact that english isnt your first language, it isnt mine either, but if you are gonna make a post based on someone elses post you have the responsibility to make sure you understand it first. About russian airplanes, I admire their beauty, sometimes I compare them to a stereotypical hot blonde: very pretty, a body to die for, but easily fooled and goes down easy ;) This is just a joke ofc, and based on ugly and totally wrong steroetypes, but yeah I prefer a more "smart" airplane to take into combat when I sim especially the cockpit, sensors and weapon systems.
