Q: Will DCS: A-10C Warthog be online-compatible with DCS: Black Shark and Flaming Cliffs 2? A: We hope to be able to release a compatibilty patch for DCS: Black Shark after release. Compatibility with FC2 is unlikely. That is from the faq and should be clear to understand IMO. My guess from what I have been reading here on the forum is that they have other plans after the release, like working on the next project. Which is good IMO.

Will we be able to change a button fucntion automatically when we change the sensor of interest? Here is what I mean, I have a SOI selected and a button on my stick does one thing, but when I change SOI the same button automatically does something else. Is this possible? I know already it will be possible with the TM:WH but I and many others wont be having the TM:WH on release and it would be great if we could have this functionality with other sticks.

Clearly your assumption failed, so my advice is: dont make an assumption based on that type of logic and "evidence" again, someone could get hurt ;)

An AMRAAM is probably hard for a WWII plane to defeat, even if a "newbie" pushed the fire button.

This is better, I prefer a stable dx9 release over a last minute rushed unstable dx11 port. And since you started working on dx11 its good news for the next dcs module, or perhaps a patch for A10C with higher probability for a stable dx11 version. Thanks for keeping us updated Matt!

No LOL the TopGun movie isnt real you know :music_whistling: Jk, but they are absolutely not equal in dogfighting, F/A-18 is a much better dogfighter. And in my opinion the F/A-18 is not ugly AT ALL, I think its more beautiful than the Tomcat :P

Yes I know all about drag :) I am a huge fan of the F35, I know very much the advantages of having the wepons internal. But still, she is a fat girl ;) You have to admit that. I still think its a good design choice. But im thinking she could still have some ****** up drag when compared to some of the other planes in that chart even with no external wepons. And I dont think your comment about the superhornet and the C is right, you are forgetting about the stealthy intakes, larger wings, new lerx and more fuel. That should change acceleration.
