Thanks for the explanation. I now know what the engine icon on the right side of the screen stands for.

I tried to set up three AAA vehicles that player can drive but for some reason they cannot move. They are AAA bofors 40mm, AAA M1 37mm, and the AAA M45 Quadrant HB 12.7mm. They are player can drive is selected and it shows the gear is neutral along with a symbol of an engine on the right side of the screen. The engine cannot be started with the LCtrl+E as shown in the default and the gear cannot be advance with the "X" key as in the default. Any suggestion of where to look or how to correct this?

Are the bridges on the Normandy map destructible? If so, how do they get repaired and how long does it take and what is necessary from a standpoint of vehicle being near the downed bridge?

Can all the Cold War stuff like Sam sites be removed so that WWII missions can be placed on it?

Same thing. error code 504 and on another try error code 502. Can't they get anything right the first time?

When you fly a plane in DCS you can select map view to see exactly where you are. Is there a similar option when driving a vehicle and if so, how do you get it? I’ve looked at the VIEW option and none is listed.

Please post a link to the WW2 AI units by Cesta Industries when you’ve located it. It will save the rest of us much time in trying to find it. Thanks in advance.

If it wasn’t for Hawkeye and all his WWII mods, DCS for WWII would be very boring.

I’m hoping that anyone who has WWII mods can just put a link in this section for the rest of us to use. It would save a great deal of time searching through out this forum for them.

Is it possible to make a sub section that includes ONLY WWII mods? It would save a lot of time looking through the entire MODS section to find just WWII mods.

Is this done by setting the F10 key for the isometric view within the view group selection ?

Is there a way to get a map view while driving a vehicle or flying a plane so that you can see where you are on the map? I looked in the "View" setting and didn't notice something like that.

Where is the link for the mission?

Has the update been released and if not, when?
