I have been playing flight simulations for some time (EF2000 was my first one) but I have always been using a rather crappy standard joystick.
As I discovered LOMAC and gotten to love it I decided that I want to upgrade my entire rig to be able to play the game at its full potential.
So I will buy a new computer very soon and I would like to get a decent flight control system (joystick and throttle) as well. I would really like the hardware to last some years if possible. Also it should be suited to play LOMAC without using the keyboard as much as possible but at the same time I want it to be able to adjust it to any other games I might play.
Also either the joystick or the throttle will have to have some sort of rudder control (rotational axis on joystick would be perfect) because I don't want to use foot pedals for rudder.
Of couse the Saitek X52 immediately pops up but is there any other product that is up to the challenge, like some thrustmaster?
I rely entirely on your opinions and reports on this and I'd be very thankful of any recommendations and/or criticism.
Thanks and good night!
