  2. Real nice man!!
  3. Thanks man!! The 1+2 carboard is ideal for panels, it becomes very strong. And easy to work whit.
  4. They are no meaning to strengthen it when it is already strong:)
  5. Here's a little update ... I made a panel, I used a carboard called 1 +2, it is much stronger than usual. So Mr_Burns you to not need to strengthen it, it's really strong as it is, feels like the switches sitting in metal:) No need to pay attention to the photo paper I used for is an old and worn image, wrinkled and ugly ... "printer does not work"
  6. sounds good, I have some more work to do with the drawings, but they will soon be ready
  7. When I began this experiment, they were just to test to see if it was possible to make a pit in the carboard. But now I have received great feedback from many who want a pit that is easy to build and not too heavy, and of course that does not cost that much. So no I am not joking, I'll probably make a kit.
  8. Hold on:) I will have a complete kit very soon!!
  9. Dont know if it will support a lage monitor just by hangin it on the carbord, you will need some sort of backpic to hold it up. But the 7" monitors like for the mfd will work, Im gonna test out some stuff this week so i will post more pic as i go..:)
  10. hehe..:)

  13. Thanks Cali, i will make sure that the filling will be airtight:) and then i will paint it.
  14. I decided to try a different way of buildning a pit, it will be made of carboard 3pic, 6mm on every part. The blueprints a used is from Dimebugs Free Stencil. As shown on the images the edges are not covered yet. Will use a filler to fill them, so it will look better. Here is some images of my progress so far. Parts Parts and more Parts:) http://img706.imageshack.us/img706/383/20110902140936.jpg' alt='20110902140936.jpg'> Parts glued together.

  16. As i work with cardboard on my day job i was thinking that maby i can laser-cut the parts on 4mm cardboard and glue 4 of them together to get a very strong and light parts. So i did!!:) And the result was awesome.....Very strong and light... So now im gonna make a pit in cardboard,no more jigsaw, just some wood plugs and glue:)
