I put the leds backwards and put the opaque paper behind, lots more clean light whit just a few leds. Dont know if im gonna use white or green light yet,in the real panels i think its white but i will DEFINITELY use your trick!!

I made a smal and quick test of your solution. I onley use 2pic of ledstrips 2x3 leds in this picture and it works real good!! Thanks for the input i will use this solution!!

What do you think is the right color for the cockpit?? I found this one: http://www.tikkurila.se/industrifarger/traytor/fargkartor/ral_classic_fargkarta/ral_7001.3190.xhtml comparing to this picture is close but not 100%...
