    F16 Cockpit

Have a look here: http://www.viperpits.org/smf/index.php?topic=1949.0 and if you're interested, I have a center console for sale:)
  4. I have trouble getting access to cutting table, so i cant get any parts ready. The cutter is working 24/7, so i need the put this project on hold. Im gonna start getting parts out as soon i can get some time on the table. But i can say when. Sorry about this!!
  5. Yes if you want you can always use the parts as a template later if you want to build it in a different material such as mdf.
  6. I save the file in autocad 2010 that can be the problem. Here is files for autocad 2000 and 2004 and 2007. Hope this will help.
  7. I think this is a very good idea, and as you say they will probably be better to end user if they really want this, because it will be too much work otherwise.
  8. I think I know what you mean, I've done a front end that looks like the picture here. On the left is the "original" on the right are made so they will fit a 27 "and 2 7" monitors behind. And I will not use more parts than you need so this will become standard. Since I am going to use screens behind, then you want not to have too thick material. To my own I will probably have 12mm front.
  9. ???? really do not know why they can not use that file. I myself have used it to cnc (dxf) Ask them what they want for file format
  10. ok, well then they can be the problem. It's a drawing. Do you have autocad or something like that to save the file in dxf format instead. Or you can get it here:)
  11. thats weird? I have done my drawings in autocad "2d" and then sent it to a cnc operator that has encoded the file to the cnc and cut out the parts. Is the file in .dxf?
  12. thats a good idea. Gonna look in to that.... Thanks
  13. It's hard to say right now, I'm not done with the panels for the sides yet. It all depends on how much material is involved. For the panels need to be of the stronger material and it costs a bit more. But I can imagine that it will be around 80-110 $, but this is just a guess will know more when everything is ready. It all depends on if you want panels or do not and if im gonna glue the parts for you. Again this is just a guess.
  14. A small update. I now have almost a full kit ready, what is missing are panels for the sides. Sent the job to someone who can engrave in acryl so you can light up panels from behind. He will make the panels in black acryl and engrave the text and markings so they show through. If they do not become too expensive, I will use them in the kit. But if the panels are to expensive i will make them in 1+2 cardbord. Because many use different switches, and different size panels, you will have the possibility to get a custom made kit. For example, I got one frontpanel that is designed to fit one 27 "screen and two 7" Screen. Im just gonna get one 27" and two 7" to see if it fit:) But if someone got a 27" and two 7" let me know!!!
  15. Deadman is right.. no need to pay for them.. send me you e-mail and i can send you the prints i got them in dxf and dwg.
  16. haha, yeah they're going to be easy to put together:)
  17. Have a look here http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=79447
  18. no I have not tried with pedals, i have the part for the gap but so far only on the top and not the sides ... planning to do something that covers the sides to. Yes, both left and right panels will be included in a kit. I can not say now what it will cost, I know that later on when all the parts and stuff are done.
  19. Anyone can change:)
