I think it's just logistics. There's a lot of organization involved in keeping track of everyone that donated through Kickstarter + Paypal. Trying to manage new backers coming in all the time on top of that would probably be way too much to handle. ^^

Entertaining read, thanks. Really makes me appreciate the somewhat uncertain nature of things with these birds and the prep/knowledge required to fly them safely.

Fantastic work - I didn't pick alpha access, but I'm glad that you guys still have that in mind for those that did. I suspect I'll be jealous of them in a few weeks. :joystick:

Okay, you're right, and I misspoke. Allow me to rephrase: It saw extremely limited use, and any combat it saw is pure speculation. So, I'd prefer the Tempest over it for the same reasons as I would with the Meteor. Nothing against including it necessarily, just that there could be better uses of time. Then again, this is a "wishlist" thread... pardon my pickiness. :music_whistling:

The P-80 was never used in WWII, and the Meteor similarly only saw use against the V-1 buzz bombs and targets on the ground. It wouldn't be accurate to have them fight the 262, and though I wouldn't mind a few "what if" scenarios that pit them against each other, I'd rather see actual historical scenarios prioritized. Besides, Tempest! :D

Interesting... I didn't select the matrix either (I took the P-51), but seem to have access to it. It's possible that it would have just rejected my selection if I tried to select anything other than the P-51, but it at least seems like it was available. (I promise I didn't try; I already got my reward! :D)

For anyone looking to get into the private forum but their forum email is different than their Kickstarter one, just go into your settings and change your email address to the one attached to your Kickstarter account. I gave it 10 minutes or so and then was able to get in fine.

You're not alone; the B-24 is my favorite bomber of the war. :thumbup:
