  1. What's the summary on this mod, need the 16ft active or it drains battery? Do you leave the battery connected to the headset (silly question, but i assume yes you have to, plus weight would be out of wack) Also. Is it OK to leave connected 24 7?
  2. A few questions i'm wondering, does doing either of these break msfs + openxr toolkit ability? I guess also, not easily possible to switch between method 1 and foveated to try each out, short of uninstalling and retesting (dcs)? If using option b and just the foveated option, is there some way to view the fps inside the aero (as you can with openxr toolkit)?
  3. Thanks, this is really helpful in my situation.. I shall try later today, as nothing else before knowing this worked
  4. I have yes, in fact when its "black" in the headset, on the actual pc 2d screen i dont see anything, but the mouse can become trapped in the area where the screen should be.
  5. I'm getting the black screen (aero) when forcing openxr, seems it only works if i disable the openxr toolkit. This is my first full run through with dcs in general and i've never set openxr kit settings like turbo mode with dcs (with msfs yes). Is the actual reason for the black screen motion prediction being set to on in the aero panel settings perhaps (need to try that later if so)?
  6. Curious if anyone here happens to have the dof reality h2 or h3 setup. Im having a hard time figuring out what inexpensive seat could be used with it that supports arm rests /attachments. I will use this mainly for MSFS but also dcs. Im seeing altering opinions on whether motion adds any realism or maybe it depends on the type, ie: actuators style vs others? VR flight sim guy loves his h2 dof and he has real world experience, while others out there might comment that the way the motion rig throws you around isnt realistic at all? Any thoughts and input on the dof h3, or is there a better system at that pricepoint ($3200 with upgraded motors shipped)?
  7. Im curious, as i spotted this thread and cant find a ton of info out there on all of this.. at least in here it sounds like motion rigs arent ideal for flight, which kinda surprises me, in recent days vr flight sim guy has the dof reality h2 setup and has shown it on his yt channel. He seems pretty enthused about it and says it feels like really flying in the aircraft he tried in his initial video at least. It had me hyped enough i figured i'd go for the dof h3 with upgraded motors, but now after spotting this thread im not so sure. I dont know much about dof vs others with actuators and such, still learning the terms here. My main use would be for MSFS and some dcs use as well. I have the honeycomb alpha/bravo and mfg pedals and VR (aero).
