  1. Not sure about the first part, but regarding cross referencing with the ABRIS, are you sure you have configured the correct coordinate format? The ABRIS can be switched between degrees/minutes/seconds and decimal degrees. By default the ABRIS uses DMS but the PVI-800 uses DD.
  2. It sounds like you may have fallen victim to the 'inverted' AP channel lights that some have been seeing since 2.5 (depending what cockpit you're using). I don't have the sim to hand so someone correct me, but in some graphics configurations the channels appear to be engaged when they're actually off, and without them you would certainly get the behaviour you mention. I find the Shark very difficult to keep stable without any AP channels on.
  3. I think NVGs are broken in 2.5 anyway, I'm hoping it's something else on the fix list.
  4. I have the same problem. The default channels are listed in the manual though. Edit: pages 6-72 and 6-73, or 146-147 of the PDF
  5. This is fantastic news. I have only been starting to get deep into the ka-50 since 2.5 came out so the wee problems are making it quite difficult. Thanks for keeping it alive ED, I'm really excited!
  6. No, it's a US keyboard with a UK layout (i.e. the @ and " keys swapped).
  7. Hi Devrim, thanks but that isn't answering my question. I found out the problem with the comms (I only just noticed there are separate game/sim control key definitions - I was in the sim and changing the game definitions ), but some keys are still not registering correctly in DCS. Why does it think my "]" key is the "[" key when no other programs do? I'd rather not go in a reverse trapse through correcting half of the key definitions if there's a simple fix I can make somewhere.
  8. Hi all, DCS is not reading some of the keys on my keyboard correctly. It started with being unable to bring up the comms menu in BS2, and I discovered the issue when I was checking the key bindings. My "\" key registers as "[", for example, and my "[" key registers as "AT" (very odd), so I was being led up the garden path trying to correct the key bindings. My keyboard is a steelseries 7g, which has a somewhat unusual layout - "\" is next to backspace, for example. I had to create a custom layout for the keyboard with the MS Keyboard Layout creator. All the keys work correctly in other windows apps, but I gather DCS uses DirectInput for reading keystrokes - is it possible this is bypassing the custom layout I've set up? In either case, how can I fix this? Thanks.
