I need to appoligize to heatblur. earlier I made a statement about a gate keeper thinking I read that from ED. I was wrong flying off like that and I am sorry. you didn't deserve that. so i'm going to calm down and just get it in my head that I have to wait like the rest of you guy's. could be worse.

hey you can be your own gate keeper pal but doit with your money not mine. there take another 20% for that one. it was well worth it.

I don't believe anyone has questioned the that's being done or the quality of the product but when you offer a window in any business you should meet that window and people get upset. and they have every rite. for instance I took my vacation two weeks before the end of winter just for this. and i'm not crying i'm just saying. the responsibility should be on the company not the people that already shelled out their cash for the company's product. and they shouldn't be made to feel like their being out of line for it.

most think this is wrong wether they say it or not and it is. ED should just as they say a lesson learned and release it as a WIP I think everyone would be comfortable with that. c'mon heatblur figure it would take a couple days so what gives. is it marketing? it's starting to feel like marketing.

after have the A-4 installed and working fine I wanted to uninstall but didn't know how. so I deleted it's files and ran cc cleaner. now i'm having problems installing. I noticed in C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local after running the program it puts a file called DCS.DCS deleting or changing the file name don't help it always come back. can anyone help please. Note: I have DCS Word @ D:\DCS World and DCS OPENBETA @ C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS OpenBeta and my saved games is @ C:\Users\Administrator\Saved Games and saved games has both a DCS file and a DCS.openbeta

this is killing me any way to tell when we can have it?

hopefully it comes soon this plane makes more sence. it really should have been made already it seems to me. ofcourse I know shit about this. as far as the timeline and the fact it's been done in other sims makes me think it should have been easier. I should just chew the gum without thinking so I don't bite myself again. yeah that's what i'll do.:clap_2:

any word on the tomcat?

1st. uninstall target software and unplug all three. go to cmd and run as admin. type chkdsk c: /f and hit enter. it wil say it can't because the drive is being used and would you like the disc to be checked at next start up. choose yes. do this for all your drives. no need to dismount just let it check everything at start up. the defrag all the drives. then make sure you have the latest drivers not the target software just the drivers found at same place you get the target software and load drivers. thenturn comp off and plug everything in. if you use them all separate you need the switch that came with your hotas. if you only use as flight controls then plug rudders into throttle and let windows find them. you might need to use device manager to make sure they install. they should show up in devices and printerswhere you can calibrate. then run DCS and go to controls and set everything for each aircraft. you can do this as you go. everytime you fly a new aircraft. make sure before you set anything highlite the colume for joy stick and click clear sectionand do this in the all category and axis and probably the hotas category also then do the same for the throttle. NOTE: USE THE SIM NOT GAME once you have everything mapped choose save profile as. but save it to a file you creat on your desk top not in saved games and keep it simple. like UH-1H_SETS.diff and just make sure to do this for each aircraft then all you need to do is load you controls each time you fly and they won't be changed every time you get an update. you can use your copy's in all of you versions of dcs. once you get them all the way you like them you can back that file up and put it somewhere on a disc so you always have them. kind of a pain but the saved games option the manual recamends will have you redoing this and by doing it this way you will have one file per plane instead of the two that gets saved in the saved games. one for stick and one for throttle. trust me I've spent months like you. a couple more steps but less head aches. hope this helps now start having fun that's what your here for.

YOU ARE BETTER OFF JUST UNISTALLING THAT TARGET CRAP AND JUST LET WINDOWS FIND IT. THEN LET WINDOWS UPDATE IT

I have the one. the cockpit looks good as well and it flew pretty good in FSX. a bit touchy as far as trimming it but it was fun to fly. landing on the carrier was challenging only because it takes longer to spool up than the super bug which was what I was used to but all in all it was pretty good and if I remember rite it was really cheap. I loved it. I've always been a big fan of that plane and it really would be a great addition to DCS because of what it was made to do. hopefully it's in the near future. i'm sure it will be here sooner or later but soon would make me happy.
