:) let´s hope. I already said it somewhere on the forum, but I´m really amazed by the MiG´s cockpit. The modelling and texturing work on this is f*cking amazing. It has so many details and so many "non-standard" parts put together! Can´t wait to hop in and study all the details. :smilewink:

Yeah...I´m not expecting the Mig to has some deep campaign, but I will love to fly it a learn it into some level. Where is it, BTW? :-P

I think we will never see Mig-17 or 19 from Belsimtek. Almost identical plane with different systems or engine or whatever. If You ask me, it would be a waste of development time. It's better to put it into something new. Cobra for example. But I REALLY HOPE for Mig-29! Maybe K variant???? Yeah...I'm dreaming. :-)

Awesome, thanks. There is a little mistake. During Taxi description, there is a shortcut for lowering flaps to 20° R.SHIFT+F, but it should be L.SHIFT+F. Just reporting. :-) Another strange thing (maybe because I'm missing something). During bombing procedure it is said, You should let the target "move" along the frame of the canopy and when the target line of sight is at 10 or 14 o'clock, You should roll the plane towards the target. 14 o'clock??? I've never heard such thing. Maybe it's meant like 2 o'clock, right? It's mentioned twice, so I'm not sure, if it's correct or not.

Sure....if You will be satisfied with it, export it to DDS file (nVidia has tools for Photoshop) and define the correct names and paths in LUA file. I think. :-) Or...You can just overwrite some existing skin files to test it. Can You give me a mail or something, where I can send the files?

I can provide You with the template in PSD. It's not finished, but the only things missing are these little not-readable signs, head of the rotor and this kind of stuff. Logos are remade in vectors and I can attach them if You want. I've done it fast this morning, when I saw Your post, so it's not perfect. PSD files are big, so...not sure if You want to me to send it to You. :-)

I wouldn´t call it a hell. I just don´ know, why people complain about this. I could do the same with MiG-15 and Mig-21, because my country had both and we also had Czech versions of cockpit. And that is historically accurate. It´s a fact. But the country of origin is Russia, ok...I will learn it in Russian. Yes...it would be awesome to have it in Czech, but I can live with it. I´m happy, the developers decided to add Czech versions (external signs) for both MiGs and I think it´s the most important thing, than to have the cockpit translated.

I just don´t see a big problem in this, even for not native Russian speaker like me. Sim is a study, so....I take it like it is. I understand it´s frustrating for example in Mi-8, but Mig is really a simple plane and the cockpit is mess (beautiful, I must say), but just a few russian words to learn there. Well just sum it up......there are two groups of simmers.......those who care and those who don´t. :-) If they will mod it or Belsimtek will release some English cockpit update, good for You. :-) I´m happy with it, like it is.

My whole discussion is based on ThorBrasil´s saying. It´s like making an A-10 cockpit in russian. Ok ok...option would be ok, but don´t tell me, that Belsimtek disappoints You only because there is no stupid english cockpit for russian planes. It´s the most unrespectful saying against Belsimtek, I can imagine.

IT IS ENGLISH SPEAKING. But the cockpit is real, so....it´s in Russian. And You have english manuals. What are You talking about guys? You didn´t bitch about learning english to play most of the games, so what is the problem here? A few russian words, that´s all. Don´t dumb DCS down, please.
