Sorry for the delay respond. Mustang can publish your version if you want in this thread, or a new one. I agree with the contribution. Highwayman-Ed also told me something similar, desaturate the texture to fit better. The noise_small texture is painted by the noise texture "big" for this reason, the original texture is grayscale. Nevertheless still in RGB, the texture noise_small remains altered for a larger texture, but less so. I decided to do it that way at first, but I'll edit an option with desaturated areas, and other areas in RGB, so that not all the land is altered for the season. "Not at all floors winter there is snow" I also try to correct mipmapping winter season, I thought it had already corrected before publishing. I missed that detail. Those who have had problems with fps, must be in the configuration of the options or the visual range. May solve your problem, removing changes in lua file. Hello again. Finally I finished the changes. This time, it is only the grass texture. What's new? ◘ New more realistic scale. Now the grass is smaller, the texture has increased by 200% ◘ Enhanced clarity. The grass, gravel and earth are now more sharp. Has been increased by 80% the clarity of the texture. ◘ Eliminated visual vibration. The visual noise or vibration to be in motion has been removed. Has been added to the texture MIP maps. Unfortunately the grass is quite large. To make true scale grass texture perhaps should have at least 20000 px, and that's too much for one texture. The video card must load each texture in his memoirs throughout the simulator. Perhaps this is why ED does not generate detailed textures. It is still possible to bring texture to 8192 px. Perhaps in an update. But everything is not possible, there are always limitations. :( -

Yes Maverick. If you're using a mod on visibility, you must add the change to the file using the mod. If your Extreme.lua file replaces any of these (Low.lua - Medium.lua - High.lua) then open it and edit the lines that I put in the first post. Then you still have extreme visibility and more visibility range for grass. -

Hi guys. I would like to share my own mod off terrain, it is easy, simply by using the map noise for texture. I used textures off Highwayman-Ed, and I edited a bit by adding areas of rocky ground. I also added a new texture for the grass detail, seen to fly low, with helicopters or using the CA. I know there are many choices for this, but you may like this alternative. It is a small contribution. I use the mod "Improved Villages mod" of, Highwayman-Ed (Thanks for that Highwayman) and I recommend it, but I took the boldness to add a little personal issue. I show you some examples: For autumn ▼ For the summer ▼ For Spring ▼ For the winter ▼ For the grass in detail ▼ I have increased the visibility range of grass detail by editing the file: Medium.lua in: DCS World \ Config \ terrain. Precisely in the following lines: Line 48: Height = 400.0; Line 132: smallNoiseStartDistance = 200.0; If you use High in visual range options should change those lines in the file High.lua If using Low, do the same. If you use another mod that uses that file should open it and add the change, but do not forget to delete the file medium.lua off this mod. That's all. • To combine with another mod, you must unzip then join the folders and files of both mods respecting the structure of the folders. Now you have a single folder with the name you choose for your mod combined (Example: "Improved textures - Farp and ground") And within this folder will have folders and files combined mods. All texture files and .lua files should be included.

Yes, you can mount both mods at once. Me too I get the same warning. You can also combine both mods following the folder structure and make a single mod. But keep in mind that everything will be activated at a time. With JSGME you can take several mods you always use and combine them into one, to activate them all at once, I do it when two or more mods, share some folder, and thus, I have no warning.

Hello uboats. About your problem, maybe you have two mods that use the same file paths (with JSGME). I use some mods off Devrim, which are installed on the same paths and sometimes does not load well JSGME thinking of this mod. So what I do is uninstall one and install the other first, and then I try. If you are not yet loaded, I reverse the process. At this time the mod works for me 100% Also, it is good to unify the mods that use the same routes in a single mod to avoid problems. -
