Hi, guys! I'm having a lot of fun pushing buttons and flipping switches! I even know how to get the A-10C up and flying!!! Turn on the battery, turn on the fuel boost pumps, turn on APU, turn on the APU generator, turn on the CDU, turn on the 2 MFCD, turn on the HUD, click ENT on the upfront panel, wait for several seconds, click on RK4, click on LK1 on the CDU , wait for the HUD to finish the self-test, wait for 5 minutes for the navigation to align, click on RK5 on the left MFCD, the dots on the left side of the left MFCD disappear, when the dots reappear, click on the button underneath the CDU displayed on the right MFCD, click on EGI underneath the HSI, turn on the SAS, turn on EAC, start the left/right engine, turn off the APU generator, shutdown the APU, turn on the radios, set the radios to the proper frequency, turn on the oxygen system, close canopy, that is always to it!! Plain and simple!! I'm not using game avionics mode or anything like that!! Cheers, Vincent

Recommend a high fidelity supersonic jet
Vinny002 replied to Vinny002's topic in DCS World 1.x (read only)
Hi, kayos! Yes, I'm very much looking forward for flying the mig-21 with most of its systems simulated! I read on the steam website, the Mig-21 will be released on October 1st which is 24 days from today. I also checked the leatherneck simulation website, the mig-21 will be released on 2nd Quarter or 3rd Quarter. Cheers, Vincent -
Hi, guys! I'm not 100% sure, I really like the F-15C but I would like it to have a clickable cockpit like the A-10C have. Can you recommend a supersonic jet which goes up to Mach 2.5 or about 1,700 miles per hour and goes up to an altitude of 65,000 feet that have a clickable cockpit like what the A-10C have? Thanks! Cheers, Vincent

Hi, Zabuza! That is what I thought! Thanks for the pictures! Cheers, Vincent

Hi, Zabuza! That makes sense! Question for you, what does the ground power which is used to start the f-86 sabre engine look like in the 1950s? Cheers, Vincent

Hi, guys! I'm looking forward for trying out the mig-21bis!! How is the mig-21bis coming along? Thanks! Cheers, Vincent

Hi, guys! Question about the engine startup. Is it possible to start the f-86 engine with just the f-86 batteries or the ground power unit is required to start the engine? Thanks! Cheers, Vincent

Hi, Zabuza! I get it now! So you are saying the f-86 NDB radio is both mechanically and electrically operated. Thanks for the explanation! Cheers, Vincent

Hi, Neilwillis! That makes sense! Now the question is when I turn the band switch from 410-200 to 200-100 it mechanically change the frequency from 410-200 to 200-100? Thanks! Cheers, Vincent

Hi, Oesau! I know how to navigate now. My question is does the NDB radio's have metal plates with numbers written on it flip when turning the band switch from say 410-200 to 200-100 is the same thing as the metal plates on the manual pip control presets flip when clicking on the manual pip control presets which also have numbers written on it? Thanks! Cheers, Vincent

Hi, guys! I don't understand how the NDB radio knob change the band from say 410-200 to 200-100. I guess the NDB radio knob change the band from 410-200 to 200-100 has the metal plates with numbers written on it like the manual pip control presets as shown on the photo below, is that correct? Please see attached. Thanks! Cheers, Vincent

Hi, guys! Question for you, what is the highest altitude and speed you got the A-10C up to? Thanks! I got the A-10C up to an altitude of around 40,000 feet!! Cheers, Vincent

Hi, Ktulu2! Really? The map is of the whole world in DCS world? And when I fly far enough south in the Southern Hemisphere, the sun/moon will be in the north, and when I fly far enough north in the northern hemisphere, the sun/moon will be in the south and vice versa!? That makes sense! Thanks! Cheers, Vincent

Hi, guys! Looking really good! I can't wait until I try out the F/A-18 Hornet jet! Thanks! Cheers, Vincent

Hi, guys! Question for you, does the A-10C have air brakes or no, if so how do I deploy them? Thanks! Cheers, Vincent

Hi, guys! That is what I thought! I'm wondering if DCS world 2.0 will have taxiing on dirt behavior like in real life? Thanks! Cheers, Vincent

Hi, guys! Question for you, will all the radios like the IFF, Detrola radio and the 1 radio as well as the 1 radio in the DCS P-51D will work in the next update of the DCS P-51D? Thanks! Cheers, Vincent

Hi, guys! I'm not 100% sure, does real planes like A-10C, P-51D, and boeing jets such as the boeing 777 can taxi on the dirt ground very well or no? Thanks!! Cheers, Vincent

Hi, guys! I was talking about starting the engine on the ground. It is strange. After I fly for about 40-50 minutes at 61 MP, the engine still runs fine, after once I got back on the ground, shut the engine down, start the engine a few more times, then the engine won't start anymore I think it is due to oil temperature being too high,I let the oil tempature cool for a little while, when I start the engine again, the oil temperature goes way up, and of course the engine didn't start. Where is the radiator air valve located, and how do I keep the oil temperature in normal range? Thanks! Cheers, Vincent
-
Hi, guys! The oil temperature is at 100 degrees C. or more. Maybe that is why the P-51D engine won't start. I don't know what to do if the oil temperature gets too hot. Any ideas on how to get the oil temperature down? Thanks! Cheers, Vincent

Hi, Art-J I don't know if I have P-51D version 1.2.10 or not. How do check it out? I was using the create fast mission but in create fast mission, the P-51D engine starts 2 or maybe 3 times, the engine won't start anymore after that. I tried the training missions, it seems like the P-51D engine starts every time now! I started the engine about 6 times still no problems yet! Very strange! Thanks! Cheers, Vincent
-
Hi, guys! This is strange. Does anybody else have the same problem I'm having where the P-51D engine won't start after the 2nd or 3rd time? Thanks! Cheers, Vincent
