  1. OK, it seems we are a little closer to reason. First check, if AriesRadio.dll can be found at C:\Program Files\TeamSpeak 3 Client\plugins ( this is not present ). If it is not there, then your installation was already wrong. ( So the installation has failed. If it is there: Does TeamSpeak have a 'Plugins' entry in the menu line and, if yes, can you open the Aries Radio pulldown? ( TS does have the plugin entry, but no aries box to the left If the menu is not there, open the 'Settings ' menu and select 'Plugins'. Aries Radio should have an entry in the left list window and should have a check mark. If AriesRadio.dll appear as red entry, then it is most likely, that you must start TeamSpeak with Administrator rights. Late entry: Just inspected your last post a little more precise. It seems, that the installation failed already. If the AriesRadio subfolder is not there then you have an installation problem. It would be important to send your installation protocol 'AirbornRadioInstaller_log.htm'. It resides in the folder, where you started 'SetUp.exe'. this file is not present within the Setup .exe
  2. In the folder, where you unzipped the downloaded package. there should be file named AirbornRadioInstaller_log.htm. C:\Program Files\TeamSpeak 3 Client\plugins\AriesRadio \ AriesRadioLog_log.html DCS World\AriesWings\logs\ AriesAirborneRadio_log.html The red highlights are not present within these files I have sent the log files to your support address.
  3. towsim, I think I may have found the problem ? C:\Program Files\TeamSpeak 3 Client\plugins\AriesRadio \ AriesRadioLog_log.html ( only this part of the file exists ( C:\Program Files\TeamSpeak 3 Client\plugins ) there is no ariesradio\ariesradiolog
  4. Did you experience the trouble already during the installation ? ( I have no problem installing ARIES or TS3, Did Aries start (you would see the Aries radio panel) together with the mission ? ( I havent run the sim yet as I could not find the ARIES plugin in TS3 settings /plugin Does DCS crash or is the Aries radio panel simply not visible? ( Did you configure Aries to support your input devices? yes ) If you don't see the Aries radio panel, can you use PTT to illuminate the blue LED in TS3 ? If you can start DCS, look for the following files and send it to support@ariescon.com: In the folder, where you unzipped the downloaded package. there should be file named AirbornRadioInstaller_log.htm. ( yes, there is a log every time I try to get it to work ) I will send you the log files. C:\Program Files\TeamSpeak 3 Client\plugins\AriesRadio \ AriesRadioLog_log.html DCS World\AriesWings\logs\ AriesAirborneRadio_log.html Thankyou very much towsim
  5. apologies towsim, i didnt see your reply.
  6. Hi guys. I have tried and tried to get TS3 to recognize the ARIES plugin, I have folowed the ARIES pdf file instructions to the letter, and I still cannot get it to sync with TS3 V3.0.16 64 BIT helpppppppppppppppppppp/ please
  7. aries plugin is not showing in TS3 Hi guys, I'm glad that someone has managed to get it working but I have tried over an over again to get this running properly with no joy at all. I've downloaded the latest TS3 64BIT, ARIES version from the ARIES website, followed the PFD file instructions to the letter and the aries plugin still will not show in TS3 settings/ plugins. I have no idea I am doing wrong. I have uninstalled every trace of aries and ts3, so I can get a completley clean install, downloading as we speak, any help would be really appreciated thanks guys
  8. Thanks Snoopy,
  9. Looking at using ARIES & TS3 ths weekend, however I'm having a problem getting ARIES plug in to show up in TS3. The ARIES download says to ensure you have TS3 latest version which is 3.0.16 64bit, which I downloaded. but when I tried to set it up, there is no tickbox or even a mention of ARIES. Has anyone tried this out and got it working ? cheers
  10. Thanks guys Appreciated
  11. Hi Guys, Can anyone tellme please, how I get my Mapleflag missions qualification badges to sit within my posts, trivial I know, but I want them there :) cheers ta thanks
  12. Iku, How do you get your warthog qualification badges in you message post ?
  13. Hi Sabre, I've managed to get thru a few of the qualifying missions, but the one that is bugging me the most, is the instrument landing at night at Batumi. the first attempt at landing after getting a vector from Bat ATC, is no problem, it's the 2nd one thats causing me grief, in that I can't make a sharp enough turn onto 120 because i can't see my pitch ladder and therefore end up being terminated for going below pattern Alt, I haven't got the most up to date stick setup, but it's adequate, it's that damn pitch ladder, if it stayed centered I think I'd be ok :) why is Batumi on a heading of 120 if the Runway 13 - 130, again trying to get the needles bang on means having to drift and keep getting the dreaded, terminate x3, or coming in sideways like the an RAF pilot. lol which is why us Brits call them crabair.
  14. I'm having the same problem Sherratt, how did you sort it ?
  15. Rgr All guys many thanks for the replies, I was thinking it's more like 125, 120 is off to the left and 130 is off to the right, however in Mapleflag if I go off heading ie 120 , i get the terminate, terminate terminate, which is a bit of a pisser, anyway, practice , practice , practice,
  16. Hi Guys, When coming into Batumi from the sea, the runway is 13 therefore you would set your HSI to 130 , Correct ? if so then why do I get a heading of 120 in the Mapleflag missions and end up having to crab my way onto the runway, at night / low vis etc if you are flying by instruments , ILS / Tacan if you set the HSI to 120 and followed it in I very much doubt you'd be on the runway, Or am I talking out of my bottom. cheers
  17. I have been a complete knob, ref my point about not getting a Q - or + that was because I was flying the practice missions, I am aware now of the difference. My apologies for being a knob :) thankyou for the replies all the same.
  18. Rgr All Sabre, I fully understand the rules and I think the missions are great, but in my instance as far as I was concerned I missed nothing out and performed the mission almost perfectly other than being above glidepath for a second or 2, there was no announcement from the FE that I'd strayed off course or altitude etc, I got a well done for landing between the vehicles on the runway and a shut down looks good, was a little surprised to hear him say , well done cadet, a few more missions and you will ace it, but never mind I will carry on and crack it, I am aware of the practice missions but to be honest I didn't think I would need them, however it might be the way to go. all practice is good practice. thankyou for the reply appreciated
  19. I'm not whinging as you put it about a well put together training mission, I very much enjoy the missions, my point is that I'm not getting a Qualification and or being told why I'm not and or what I missed or fkd up during the mission, I didn't make that clear in the post.
  20. Hi Guys, I have now flown the 2nd mission which is the EFATO about 8 times , other than being above glidepath I have down everything as asked , landed safely at Batumi and shutdown correctly, and what do I get, Well done Cadet, and some bollocks about a few more missions and you could Ace it, wtf. it's really beginning to piss me off now, anyone else having the same ?
  21. Thanks Mav
  22. Hi Guys, Not being as computer savvy as alot of you guys on here , can anyone please tell me how I change my mission .trk file to one that I can upload, ie how do I put it into a playable file like AVI / MPEG4 etc etc I want to put the tracks on my youtube page but youtube doesn't rcognize the file. Many thanks
  23. Thanks Atalia, No I didn't try that however I have sussed it , basically I dethrottle and then use the Rctrl+End, that shuts the engine down , and then full throttle again to get power back to the left engine and be able to make it to the base , since practicing this I have so far crashed 4 times on landing :) so abit more practice methinks , thanks again for the reply. appreciated
  24. Hi Guys, I've bought into the Mapleflag missions to try and improve my flight skills and knowledge of the A-10C , I'm now attempting BFT02 whereby you depart and are given instructions to maintain a heading speed and altitude, then you are asked to shut down your right engine and proceed to land at Batumi. I have tried everything to shut down my right engine, ie every switch pertaining to the right engine, Rcrtl-End . it just won't shut down. My HOTAS is a Saitek x45 so I don't have a left and right throttle system. I've looked everywhere for info on how to shutdown during flight but can't find anything other than shutting down once you've landed and are back in the parking area. Any info would be greatly appreciated, it's beginning to piss me off :helpsmilie: many thanks
  25. Rgr, thankyou Direwolf :)
