Almost there, I can now see my radios in the VA box, I think my wingman is ignoring me, or he can't understand my accent,could be my veiled speech he doesn't like :) Thanks all

Thanks Greyman, I'm still getting invalid radio on the voice attack window, but it is recognizing my commands, in the voice attack folder is there supposed to be something in the sounds folder as I keep getting 18:34:04 - Error accessing sound file - C:/Program%20Files%20(x86)/VoiceAttack/Apps/VAICOM/Sounds/UI/Blip%201.wav 18:32:51 - Shortcut : 'Transmit AUTO released' any ideas how I get this ? 18:32:57 - Shortcut : 'Transmit VHF2 released' 18:32:56 - Shortcut : 'Transmit UHF pressed' last link in the OP ?? Viacom Voice attack probs Briefly, Downloaded and Installed as Administrator everything that Hollywood / Davison have written down or put in a video clip. I did have the AM, UHF, FM radios showing in the VA window when pressed using the HOTAS MIC switch, ie 4,5 and 6 respectively. for a short time, then it dissapeared. TM throttle is number one using the AutoHotkey Joystick finder, therefore 1JOY2, 1JOY3, etc etc. DCS options settings as per Davison's screenshot, 4,5 and 6 deleted from the settings page in joystick setup. No F - Menu showing whilst in Sim but at the same time no comms with wingman / Tower etc. Installed / Uninstalled everything bar DCS WORLD, at least 5 times, doing me head in now Hellllllllllp please.

Hi, I'm mapping in game, and the lever is on front of the stick which can be used as a modifier. I do now appear to have it working as it should, just trying out various ways to map the rudder, Many thanks for the replies.

Hi Guys, I see reading the posts that some of you have the same stick setup as I do, the problem I'm having is setting a profile for the Spit, the various buttons switches etc that I do use or would like to, just don't seem to want to play once I'm in the Sim. At present I don't have rudder pedals so am having to use keys ZnX which isn't very practical, I've tried mapping the lever on the stick but the lever will only show if it's as a modifier. Only got the module yesterday and can't keep off it, having read all the posts it would appear nearly all of us are or have had the same / similar difficulties with this beautiful beast. As always guys, practice practice and practice, to that end if anyone could shed some light on the above I'd be very grateful. Yes I know, I will get myself a set of pedals. :) regards

I've just got back in the pit and am trying to re-acquaint myself firstly with my stick and throttle :) and trying to remember everything you guys taught me with the 319th, it's all coming back to me albeit slowly. I am hoping to have a fully juiced up rig in the new year but for now I'm using my laptop which is ok for world 1.5 but not for world 2 / NTTR. Looking forward to your next release and hopefully getting back in the air with yourself and DB. Have a great xmas mate, see you in the new year, Ho Ho Ho :)

I take it that did the trick mate ? , I use a Warthog HOTAS setup so my force feedback is never ticked, I still cannot get it to work, 3 times now I've manually setup my a10 & f15.

Glad I'm not the only one who can't get his Trim sorted, I did exactly the same as you ruffles, Imported from 1.5 , no joy with that so deleted all and input it myself, still no trim with the A10c or the F15.

Hi Ragtop, I like those settings you described, I was trying to get my rudder working last night by using the pinky paddle ie Btn 4 as a modifier with Joy x roll , which is how I was using rudder before I installed Win 10, now I just cannot get it to work and missed out on flight with my Squadron last night, bloody annoying. I will get around to buying some proper pedals, after reading your post I realise there are a couple of sensible maps I could use, ie for wheel brakes & Aries comms, landing gear etc, thanks for the that,

Indeed mate, I was flying with Lockon / Lockon Gold years ago, Don't get me wrong I think what ED has done is fantastic, I just hope they will bring about a fully clickable pit for the F15

All good comments guys and much appreciated, I think I finally sussed that out Svende, but I shall try out your way of thinking as it makes alot of sense, This sim would be so much more enjoyable had ED gone the whole hog and made it like the A10C , which is actually my first aircraft, but that's for another time .

Trying to get to grips with the F15C, I flew this amazing AC in Lockon a few yrs back, and didn't sem to have any mojor problems with it, however now that I have it in DCS World it's causing me alot of grief, I have set up my profile within the Options page 3 times today because it just didn't want to recognize many of the commands, it still isn't behaving as it should. So I fly to practice using the Radar, locking up, increasing scan etc etc, I lock up an AC press BVR or whatever and instantly my radar turns itself off, And it's really beginning to piss me off. if anyone has any helpful comments or ideas, I'm all ears. Going back to my A10c now, at least everything works the way it should do. cheers guys KLMF

Rogue, No to the first Q, my left throttle of the 2 is mapped as my throttle and is always full on, I don't adjust the throttle at all. My Cyclic is the right throttle and is mapped as such with Slider and Invert boxes ticked. My stick Y & X axis are fine and curve is about 20 I think , I don't have pedals , therefore my throttle Incr / Decr SLIDER is set to Rudder and works fine. I have found that the collective works smoothly if I don't have the trimmer box ticked in options, If I do have it on, the collective will only move up with each press of the pilot trimmer, But I am having alot of fun with it so far, but it does seem to be very buggy, A little of topic , but I can do nothing / other than fire the guns, with the door gunners, ie Aim the bloody things, pointless having them there if you can't use them. They do not behave as the manual suggests. Thank you all for the replies.

Many thanks for all the informative replies guys much appreciated. I now have a Warthog system and am having a poo time trying to map the collective to one of my throttles, either one. I'm using one throttle lever for throttle ( Invert box ticked in Axis Tune ) and using the other throttle as the collective ( Slider & Invert boxes ticked in Axis Tune ) there is no problem with the throttle moving up and down, but the collective seems to want to work now and again and actually disappears during the flight. I use the red button ( weapon release ) on my joystick as the Pilot Trimmer, which works. the only thing that's rally pissing me off is getting the collective to function properly. I've gone into Users and deleted and mention of Huey profile 5 times and started from scratch, but I just cannot get the collective to function. Any ideas ?

Hi Mate, I did this today, , Use notepad ++ to edit, all you need to do is change the 78.3 to 47, and save , which is big enough to see well , but still inside the HUD surround btw I left the _44 where it was. been flying tonight and there is no problem, all works well Blue sky's .

I have looked for answers to this thread but couldn't find the solution. New TM Warthog HOTAS, pucker bit of kit and loving it. however I do have a query as to why there are 2 entries for each of the boat switch aft & forward in the options. The throttle will only map BS AFT & BS FWD I cannot get it to map BS Centre, attached is a screenshot, Any ideas or help, greatly appreciated. Cheers ta thanks

Indeed it is, Chief, I am having some hair pulling moments with installing MODS with JSGME, I am following Ebs instructions but still getting nowhere, I make a folder in DCS WORLD \ _MODS eg: AIPatch , then unzip AI Patch file to that folder, but I keep getting a box that says c:\users\shane\Downloads etc etc cannot create c:\program files\eagle dynamics\ etc etc and if I try create a folder as per DCSWORLD\_MODS\AI Patch , I then get cannot use \ .,/ in naming a folder. it must be simple enough but I keep getting it wrong :( can you help me out please cheers shane
