Hi guys, I currently use my Asus laptop to fly DCS World A-10C and F15 etc, I use the HDMI slot to connect to my TV/Monitor leaving my laptop screen redundant and only using the laptop for the keyboard, therefore is it possible to use my laptop screen as a second monitor for displaying the MFCD's CDU etc, ? rather than buying a 2nd small monitor. I know I can use Lumatek to configure my monitor to show the MFCD's but I prefer to have the big screen as my pit and the MFCD's on a seperate screen. if it's poss then I'll get another smaller screen, just thought I'd ask. many thanks

Hi Colo, this may sound like a very silly question, but is it possible to use my laptop screen as a second monitor for displaying the MFCD's CDU ? My current monitor is connected via HDMI to my ASUS laptop, right now my laptop screen is just showing a screensaver, and during DCS it's almost closed so I don't get too much glare from it, and this forum etc is on my LG monitor. It would appear that it was the firewall that was stopping me from connecting, I now have a picture on my tablet ,but the CDU, MFCD'S are not static on the tablet, I use Trackir5 and therefore the picture on my tablet is moving around as I look around the pit etc etc, Right now I have a picture of this forum on my tablet. I cannot find version 1.0.3 on google play yet. any idea why the tablet picture is moving around ? Great App and ty very much for your patience with my questions

I have copied both the CDU & KEYBOARD files into their respective folders in DCS World & DSC saved Games blah blah blah. I've rerun the panelspro on the desktop and setup for one monitor, restarted the App on my Tab & still no connection, nada, nothing.

Hi Colo, Thanks for the reply buddy, I'm missing something here. when I download the DCSPanelsPro zip file, do I need to file it inside DCSWorld ? because I've looked at the CDU files, the original CDU file in DCS and the CDU file in the zip file and there are differences. Likewise the keyboard file too, I use admin rights on everything I download. When I have clicked on the jar file and configure the monitor I then get the DCSPanelsPro box with the X & Y boxes, I click on saved values but the Start box stays grey, that could be the problem ?

MFCD for Android Tablets I take it that I have to copy and paste both of the Keyboard and CDU files into their appropiate folders to be able to use my tablet ???

Yes I have unzipped the file and I can get the jar file working ok. the detected DCS A-10 is green, but when I go to configure monitors the lumatek.lua is not in the drop down list, I have tried to copy it directly into the DCS folder ie config / monitor setup etc, but it doesn't want to go there, tells me it's copying but 20 mins later it's still copying, so it's obviously not copying. I have english version of Win 7 DCS is installed in the standard path. I also have DCSPanelsPro ver 1.0.2 SN:525- 06fc8 on my samsung tab3 , but when I tap START i get nothing

MFCD for Android Tablets Hi Colo. I am running Win 7 home premium, I have the most up todate version of DCS World / A-10c etc, I have downloaded DCSPanelsPro104, I have also purchased the google app for my Samsung Tablet. A, I cannot find the lumatek.lua in the monitor options but I do see it in the zip file, however when I try to copy it into within the DCS FOLDER, the copy box just goes on and on and on, and doesn't actually do anything I have only one monitor and my tablet, I would really like to get this up and running but I am far from being a computer wizard, I have followed your instructions to the letter but still cannot get this to work , If anyone out there has got this working can they please drop me a pm and explain in laymans terms how they did it. many thanks guys

Hi Guys. Tried that ptako, didn't work, Random, I run everything as admin , I don't know what I just did but I now have Export .lua connected to DCS world :) for the first time ! I've set up the configurator as button 3 on my saitek stick to transmit, but even though I have the Radio pop up box, I'm not getting the Green & Yellow lights on that box when I flip thru from AM to FM etc, neither am I able to transmit. I do get the sqwelch in my headphones when I turn the radios on. Could this be something to do with settings in the Options ? I've run out of ideas.

Has anyone managed to install Aries and actually be able to locate the Export.lua and then turn it on in TS3 / PLUGINS/Aries/export.lua I always get ' Export.lua could not be located! ' but aries radio still works when in the game,, problem is not being able to transmit , and it sometimes works / sometimes doesn't

Well thats good to hear Gunfighter, was beginning to think it was just me, I sent towsim some logs earlier yesterday and he's been pretty good at getting back to me, so hoepfully he'll come up with a fix, if he gets to me first, I'll post on this page whatever the results are.

I 've been working on it all day, at one point I managed to get the yellow and green lights working on the radio pop up box, but this was by using no1/2/3 on the keyboard, no matter what button or switch I assign to transmit using the configurator, I just cannot transmit. Been at it all day, now I can still get the radio pop up freq box, but still no transmit green light or yellow when I change radios. I'll get it cracked , the G,P,M buttons are all lit and work fine, likewise if you right click on the popup box you get the 3 nearest airbases etc, Driving me nuts

Thanks buddy, I got an email reply from towsim today on registry stuff, scares me a little as I'm not that Au Fait with that kind of stuff, however I have now got Aries running, ie I have the radio pop up and it changes Freqs etc, I did have it lighting up the yellow and green buttons when I used my Mic settings on my stick, ie pinkie + TMS UP VHF AM. and so on, I could transmit if I kept my finger on the No1 key, 2 key, 3 key, and the 4 key was to hide the pop up, which worked, but when it came to using a button on my stick to transmit which I'd logged into the radio configuration page , nothing, nada. and thats what I'm trying to sort out now, also if I have DCS running and I'm in the pit and then I try to program a button for transmitting, it crashes. so I have to set up my transmit button before running DCS MP. will let you know how I get on , Cheers mate

Hi Neil. Yes, I run everything as Admin now, In my TS3 box I have ' No Active Freq Set ' in the dropdown list in plugins / ariesradio , when I click on export.lua entry on/off it tells me it cannot locate export lua, but I can still get aries working when I go into MP, so I suppose my biggest prob that's pissing me off is not being able to transmit once I tune my radios in, last night I had it running with a friend in MP and the green lights came on everytime he transmitted and I could hear him, prob was of course I couldn't transmit back, no keyboard buttons or stick / throttle buttons etc, using the configurator just seems to crash everytime I arm with a button on my stick, and if it doesn't crash I still cannot transmit, btw I have a very antiquated Saitek X45, which actually works quite well albeit not like a HOTAS Warthog, any ideas you have and help would be greatly appreciated thanks Neil

Ok so Aries has installed because I can see the pop up freq box once in the game, however the Aries plugin shows in the TS3 plugins, but when I go to turn it on it says ( Export .Lua cannot be found ) I know it's there in scripts because I can see it. Secondly, the configurator crashes every time I try to submit a button on my stick, the default stick is HOTAS Warthog, My Saitek is in the box , so it's recognized, but it will not allow me to bind a PTT button, therefore once in the Pit and radios are on I cannot transmit. :helpsmilie:

Hi towsim, Finally managed to get Aries loaded and sort of running, the ARD DCSWORLD Configurator , is set to HOTAS Warthog by default, when I press a button on my Siatek , it stops working and the windows box for a solution keeps coming up, If I do manage to set the configurator up and save then exit, when i go back into it, it's back to HOTAS Warthog default settings, Help please :)

OK , thanks Towsim. I will uninstall then reinstall using admin rights and see if it makes a difference. thanks for your help

towsim. I have uninstalled completely, downloaded again from your website, Unzipped the file. Run Setup.exe c:\program files\teamspeak3 client\ plugins there is NO aries radio.dll file , NO AriesRadio \ AriesRadioLog_log.html within TS / PLUGINS and NO AriesAirborneRadio_log.html IN DCSWORLD I have NO aries files at all in c:\programs\DCSWORLD. The Zip file says 78mb on your website, but when I am downloading it says 75mb ?

On the ARIES download , it says the Zip file is 78.6mb my Zip file says 75.0 mb , could I be missing those vital files ? which is why I can't get it to work ? just a thought
