Hi Guys. I have tried and tried to get Ricardo's cockpit MOD working, Firstly the download is a folder ( JAN 25 14 A_10C_C_EDM_TEX ) that contains all of the files seperately not as a Zip file as per DSCWORLD\MODS\AIRCRAFT\A10C\COCKPIT\RESOURCES\MODEL\TEXTURES, so I cut the zip file and replace with Ricardo's folder, go to Sim and load up and an Orange cockpit awaits me. If someone could enlighten me I would be very grateful. On a seperate note ZZZZZSPACE Sound V2 is the dogs but that's installed using MODMAN. Cheers guys

Hi Guys, I have JSGME and have set it up as per Ebs instructions on this forum, some of the mods have gone into the correct folder ie DCS WORLD / _Mods, but a couple of them have also unloaded in DCS WORLD under the last folder, TheatresOfWar, eg: Ricardo's cockpit mod, I don't think it's having an adverse effect on the sim itself but this isn't right is it ? cheers

Hi guys, Bit of a long shot as I know this particular stick system is old enough to be an antique but does anyone have a profile for the A-10C or know anyone who uses the X45 ? I have set it up using deadzone and curvature but feel it needs a bit fine tuning which I just can't get, if that makes sense. many thanks

Bag of bollocks, must be me then, ok cushty. I was looking at sticks only yesterday, other than the Warthog Hotas and or the X55 Rhino is there anything else that will do the job, thanks for the replies guys appreciated

Does anyone have the same problem I'm having in that after the last update my 15 is virtually unflyable, the slightest movement on the stick sends it all over the place, using the trim doesn't seem to have much effect either, it could be my antiquated stick but it was working fine before the update.

saitek X45 Thanks guys, Pretty sure I have the latest drivers but it is an old piece of eqp't now, Will experiment with the deadzone settings and see if there is any improvement. Thanks again

saitek X45 Thanks mate, One thing I cannot sort is the collective, my throttle is what I'm using for the collective, but no matter what settings I input , my throttle is over halfway thru it's range before I start to see and movement from the huey. I've looked at other youtub vids and can see that the collective is responsive with just a few mm's of movement, cheers

At present I have a Saitek x45, yes I know it's an antique as far as control systems go, but it works for me with the A-10 & F15, anyway can anyone help me with setting the stick up, ? just trying to hover has me slipping sideways to the left and backwards. My throttle ( inverted ) seems to take way too long before any lift actually happens, I understand there is always going to have to be small adjustments to pedals and cyclic. but I just seem to be fighting my controls to maintain any sort of stability. I've read posts about curve & saturation and all sorts of numbers being mentioned but it doesn't seem to make much of an improvement. any help would be greatly appreciated many thanks

I have done exactly as you have illustrated, put all the MODS into c:/programs/eagledynamics/dcsworld/_Mods, and i can see all the Mod folders in that folder, however I have various lua files and zip folders all sitting under Theatres of war in the DCSWORLD Folder, is this ok ?

JSGME Hi Guys I'm using JSGME whenever it's possible to add mods, some of them will go into the MODS folder whereas others will go and unload themselves into DCS WORLD folder as per the screenshot, is this correct ?

That is cool for cats my friend, could I make the MFCD's / CDU just a little bigger on my laptop screen ?????? My screen is 15.6" 16:9 HD (1366x768)/HD+ (1600x900)/Full HD (1920x1080) LED Backlight. ty for your persistence colo , much appreciated

Thanks Colo, I now have the CDU up as well but they are all still horizontally next to each other, they do not want to be dragged and dropped, I am still seeing nothing on my laptop screen and the Tablet is not doing what it should as in your YT Video. no worries my friend , I shall invest in a proper 2nd monitor Thankyou for all your time and effort :)

Many thanks colo, there is already a CDU_init.lua & a CDU_init file in the Indicator folder, and it does differ a little from the one you just sent me , so I assume it's safe to delete and overide ?

Sorry Colo, yes horizontally split. the MFCD's are bottom left and are side by side, not on top of each other. Also the app on my tablet works but I do not get the MFCD picture that is being shown in the cockpit, and my laptop screen stays the same, ie desktop screensaver. I was expecting to see the MFCD's on my laptop screen ie the second monitor ??????? Sorry for being a pain in the ass colo :)

Thanks colo, My external screen is now split vertically with both of the MFCD's on the bottom and to the left, I have nothing showing on my laptop screen, it's better but I'm not sure if I can fly with this screen setup, plus I have nothing showing on my tablet. Thankyou very much colo, I have tried various settings but still no joy, I basically end up with half the picture on my monitor and the other half on my laptop screen, I now have my tablet running also but I still cannot get a static picture of MFCD / CDU , many thanks

Ok thats cool, ty. I did try and play with the settings but wasn't able to get it right. the first time I tried with optimum settings ie, 1920x1080 on my LG monitor & 1600x900 on my laptop. = 3520x1080 This made the screen very big , so much so that the cockpit was bigger than my monitor. so I tried changing the settings to 1440x900 on my monitor & 1440x900 on my laptop = 3040x900 but I ended up having half a picture and one MFCD on my laptop ans the rest of the picture on the monitor thanks for getting back to me, appreciated
