  1. :book: aha, I see. Since they could even afford F22, they surely won't mind to spend some more money on a Mega "F16" :megalol:
  2. What Ching Kuo looks like depends on the view angle. Sometimes it looks like F18, sometimes it looks like F16. Does F-2 has two seat version? Otherwise the pilot might get too busy when doing a Air-Sea attack and A-A task at the same time.
  3. I choose J10 because till now it is the best and most beautiful fighter China ever made. F-2 looks good, but I really don't know too much about other than it is based on F16.
  4. Only wish ED could do a fixed wing jet to such detailed too someday.
  5. haha, another thread... anyway, did TW already get F16C? I know they got A/B, but F16C should be still in negotiation. BTW, TW bought the AIM120, but they are not allowed to take them home, so these precious missiles were stored in US base as I know to give US another leverage in case of conflicts. TW is too close to the mainland. Not mentioned there are already hundreds SS missiles aiming at all important targets, TW is also in range of some long range rocket launchers. Does TW has the ability to take out these missiles and RL in mainland? I don't think so. Too small and too close, without outside support, they are screwed. But I totally agree with Starlight, war is hell. Right now nobody on both sides want a war. Let's keep playing LOMAC:joystick:
  6. Oh, and I am not sure. It seems like titles like IL2, Lock on sells well in Russia
  7. many sims today have alternative channels to go to the end users. Such as rfactors, live for speed, incoming FighterOPS and many titles from battlefront including Theater of War had their own distributing networks. Using these alternative distributing network, I think the developer team avoid many cost thus make it possible to make sim for such a small market.
  8. well, i had a regular x52 for about a year. To use the profile in the game, you right click the icon on the task bar and select the profile. To edit the profile, you open the editor and choose to open a profile, but it won't be loaded on the joystick. That's just for editing the profile only. If the profile is loaded, it should be display on the MFD, when pressing a button, the function of the button will also be showing on the MFD. I also tried the stiffer mod on the x52, but it worse the problem of letting the base plate of the spring bite into the joystick base. When doing a minor adjusting on the stick, you alwyas need some extra strength to move the stick which is annoying to me.
  9. when i am home, i will post it online. I think maybe it is wrong to say that is blinking:doh: a youtube link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=omgAOVp57As however, mine is much clearer than this one. I think i got it from patrick's video website, but i can't find it there anymore.
  10. I think although Airliners fly more hours than fighters during the same time period, however, fighters need to endure heavy G in training. I remember during a video clip I watched there is a F18 pilot making a heavy G turn, and the MFD in his cockpit was blinking and actually unreadable.
  11. wow, here they go again... Another Mighty F22 Thread! NK, China, Russia, even European, bring them on, F22 will own them all... lol
  12. F117A? Aren't they retired?
  13. Will this work on a second monitor? I will definitely try it on my pc tonight. Thanks!
  14. I think Mig-29S is too cheap to be outsell
  15. Actually, I didn't expect to read great political points here either, I came here to learn knowledge about aircraft and play lomac better. But when people began to talk about my plane is better than yours and if there is a war, blablablabla......there you go. About J-10, the high profile showout in China official media is quite unusual. I think China may want to export J10 to many of his neighbour, to compete with F16
  16. Check the two link article's date. Yeah, as I previously said, Bush Adm's policy toward China really took some changes during his early period 2000-pre 911 period and after 911-2004, 2004-2006. During the first period, Bush said he would back up TW whatever happened which I don't think he really know what he was talking about. Then came the 911. After 5 years, now U.S. and China had very strong economic connection, ever heard about responsible stake holder?
  17. Aircraft maybe, air war is definitely politics. Check Carl von Clausewitz out. LoL
  18. Sorry to bring it up here. But it is truely a politics issue. That's why ur talent and knowledge in aircraft doesn't count here. U.S. will and should always put its national interest in the first place. Whether U.S. will get involved in the conflict really depends on when and how the two sides come to conflict. If U.S. will back up China whatever happened, TW would already declare its independence as their present president always want to do. Since mainland doesn't have the regular air and navy power to defeat U.S. (which I agree that F22 is really a mighty fighter) and they won't use nuclear weapon unless they are really crazy. Did that happen? No. Why? Because TW is not sure about whether U.S. will back them up or not. (at least not as sure as you) Will U.S. backed up every democratic elected government? I don't think so. Not mentioned that U.S. had support many dictators including that just been hang one, how about the democraticly elected Hamas government? About the aegis class cruisers parked there, let me tell you something. In 1958 military confrontation broke out when mainland bombardment TW's outskirt island which are very close to mainland. U.S. sent their 7th fleet to escort TW support landing fleet. However, when PLA opened fire on all of them, U.S. fleet fled and left TW's fleet behind. And talk about Korean war and Vietnam, LOL, does U.S. win any of these two?
  19. Do you have any updated info? Things are changing since 10 has got behind.:smilewink: Even Bush Administration had different policies toward China during last 6 years
  20. about the Earthquake, it is on 1999.9.21, which is 7.6 it is lucky that the earthquake is mainly on the middle part of the island.
  21. Of course I do. That's why I think it is so funny why some people felt so sure that U.S. will get involved. Will U.S. be so sure they could win the war just because U.S. AF is much stronger than China's AF?
  22. Then why U.S. not supporting TW to declare independence? I am pretty sure China will attack TW if they did that. Then U.S. could send out their mighty F-22 to destroy the last most evil "communism" country in the world. :megalol:
  23. What makes you feel so sure? Are you G.W.Bush?:megalol:
  24. I don't think TW airforce has the real ability to attack mainland China. However, if the US get involved, that would be a completely different story.:pilotfly:
