Hi, if you're using DCS v1.56, you're not in the proper section of the forum.
According to the comments section of the mod, this mod doesn't seem to work with v1.54 and above.
Yep, the gripen model isn't on the latest required version so it won't work anymore unless someone reexports the model

I've installed the Jas 39 Gripen Flyable mod by Hellaspilot and the only thing that happens it's a frozen cockpit and the simulator doesn't run. The mouse, joystick and keyboard are useless too.
I have the 1.56 DCS version with Windows 7 pro.
Can anyone help me?
I guess that mod isn't compatible with 1.5.6 anymore, only 1.5.5 and previous versions...

Repair didn't fix mine. I have NO mods activated and clicking on the red shield show the following:
Mods/aircraft/c_130/dcs_manifest.x86_64
Checked the folder for Mods/aircraft/c_130 and there is no file "dcs_manifest.86_64
I just did the repair again and there still is no such file.
Any suggestions?
Well, if you wouldn't have any mods, you would have a pure client which you don't have.
Delete the whole C-130 aircraft mod then you're good to go

No, it shouldn't push the T1 again, and even if it would, that's why you also have the T0 trigger...

You need at least have the T1 and TV assigned somewhere for easier handling.
T0 is also needed but not as important as T1/TV, but just make sure you don't accidentaly press T1 often or you will need the T0 often too. T1 on your first stage, TV on your second stage and T0 on a button or something else you can easily access

Also, when starting from for instance Sochi, do I have to put the 127 frequency to talk to the tower ?
you can contact the tower but in multiplayer the tower is rarely used or even contacted

So I'd say most of them were killed by the maverick, not with the GAU-8

987 tanks were destroyed by the A-10, most of them probably by mavericks or other weapons, but not with the GAU-8

Just tried the first mission. I found the target but it wasn't visible, I could see the wake in the water but nothing happened when I overflew it. Edit: It was visible on the radar though.
If i'm not mistaken that's a reported bug on EDs side.
Late activated ships disappear at a certain distance from the player..

what can you do different than putting the dot on the target?
Just imagine a 109/190, that you have to shot from very close. if you are very close, you put your sight right on the plane. same for ground target, just put the sight right on the target, wait till you're close and shoot.
of course once you're gaining experience, you're doing maneuvers to evade ground fire, but for a start, do some training on unarmed ground targets...

Had my second try with the Spit, and must ask something: how effective is the cannon/gun against those ground targets?
I had couple of runs against same tank on the northern target spot, and never got him damaged. Or at least smoking.
Am I just not aiming right? How many gun runs are you doing to damage something?
Against tank, try to attack from the rear with 20mm only, 7mm won't do much
But if the 20mm damages tanks, you'd have to test that somewhere like in singleplayer or so...
Lighter armored targets work, no problems destroying them
