It would be awesome if there will be any option in Mission Editor for advanced background music setup in which you can regulate volume of voice/music and in game sound separately via editor setting without using LUA scripts. Current sound setup in ME seems to me a bit limiting... I would like to set different volumes for additional sound (like voice acting/music) and in game sounds when dialog or music is played in game. Im not sure if there is any point of that feature or not but for me lack of this feature seems frustrating. It will be good for making better atmospherics for some missions. Regards Strelok

Steam Open Beta seems to be corrupted. I downloaded only about 2,9 Gb update - (Im not sure if it is Ok or not because I saw screens from DCS updater with 7+ Gb update). It looks to me that updating and downloading DCS open beta via Steam seems to be somehow strange and unstable. (I had few problems with downloading it in endless loop or something) However after complete reinstall of DCS and many data integrity checks when I try run DCS it almost instantly crash with message "Error creating process" - nothing more. My system: i5 4670K GTX 980 OC 8Gb RAM Regards Strelok

Is still sure that all old low poly and low texture resolution models are being reworked in DCS 2? Because when Matt in his latest video speak about "Old Carrier" it sounds a little bit confusing (It sounds to me like the low poly carriers stay in DCS2). Because Aircraft Carriers models need to be redone. I assume that we get a new "Old Carrier" model but functions stays the same and that theoretical Nimitz Carrier DLC will be aircraft carrier with all its complex functions etc...

Implementation of tactical nukes and SRBMs into DCS can have some potential in my eyes.RN-28 bombs have potential to eliminate any airfield in game and i think this have some sense especially in MP (I see it as good concept for MP missions). But tactical nukes in DCS need to be reworked and I hope that is planned feature because I saw some screens of SS-21 Scarab on OTR-21 Tochka for DCS 2 at WIP state.

Well, even when someone will want to do a "nuclear warfare campaign for DCS" there is one huge problem with that... DCS is unable to adequately simulate any realistic scenario of nuclear warfare. And basically there isn't any simulation that can do so. If you cross moral line and try to start making some kind of realistic simulation like that, you quickly find out that nuclear warfare is much complicated than you can imagine. And in my opinion there is another problem with that kind of missions in DCS and that is fact that DCS is simulation and in making some moral or emotional based missions it will probably fail. Cinematic based arcades like Call of Duty, Battlefield etc... are better in that way of bringing emotions into gameplay than DCS is.

Yep that screen is taken seconds before the pilot's death... :D But that screenshot is my own unrealistic scenario in editor. I have got video that i want to upload on YT soon in which I killed SA-11 BUK site with three batteries in A-10... :music_whistling: It's not that hard if you know how... :book:

What exactly do you mean by "real time weather" ? Dynamic weather? - that is implemented in game but it seems to be tricky set it to working properly. Or you meant something like FSX real world weather conditions ? Anyways... I think that weather effects needs to be improved in DCSW. :music_whistling:

Sad thing about this complaint is that there are few good thought... However who cares ? Why you should complain about something that is unchangeable. And if you think about strategy that ED uses (release it when its done) it have some logic... Only problem is that there is no transparency about DCS2 and that is their goal and this distraction is only for case of any kind of disappointment from their final product. This strategy is used by many developers... We all should wait and hope. :music_whistling:
