Good Morning, My computer downloaded the Windows 10 Anniversary Upgrade and both the Alpha and Beta of DCS World are crashing with an Access Violation. Attached below are the dxdiag file for my PC and the zipped logs file for the Open Alpha and Open Beta versions from the Saved Games folder. Hi Everyone I really am enjoying the F-5 and starting to learn the basics I use the S-3 and Su-25 as targets to understand the AIM-9P5 and learn basic gunnery. Hi Everyone, Just looking for some advice on a good seat height position for the the F-5E now that you can raise and lower the ejection seat in the module :thumbup: Right now I'm raising the ejection seat so that if I'm looking at the gun sight straight on, the Pipper is on or near the top of the glass and you can see the two guns potruding from the bottom. Just looking to see if there are any good seat position techniques used for takeoff and landing and dogfighting. Cheers,

I did a couple of test missions and started to feel comfortable releasing the FAB500 bombs with the sight glass fully lowered Was able to launch with approx 15-20 deg nose low For CCRP do we lower the sight glass full down to employ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hi Everyone, I finally got the Mirage to finally drop LGB's using tflash's technique to set up the Mission Editor. The thread is found below: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=159392 The good news is that dropping an LGB from a Mirage 2000 while being buddy lased is really cool. The bad news is that my invisible and immortal JTAC asset has to be less than 100m from the target and is well within the "Death Dome" (Fragmentation area of Mk 82 around 2500 ft radius about 3000 ft high) The next step is to figure how to use the A-10C or Predator/Reaper to lase a target for the Mirage. Kayos, Thanks for the advice. I went a little overkill because I wanted to keep UAC on for the other apps I use for work So I did the following. 1) Installed the Open Beta in the C:\ Drive not in C:\Program Files ( I know from my FS9 and FSX days that Windows loves restricting access in that folder group) 2) Changed the Folder Security Permisions in my DCS World Open Beta for the users to Full Control like the Admin 3) I made sure that every .exe had the option to Run as Administrator--DELETE (Don't do this only select Run As Administrator to the Updater.exe and the DCS.exe files) I know its a little overkill, but I have noticed with the latest Win10 updates, it looks like Microsoft is clamping down on Read/Write Access with User Account Control on and I think some of my Open Beta Bugs maybe because Win 10 does not give full read write access. I'll keep tinkering but hope this advice helps Cheers,

Hi Everyone, I'm trying to figure out if Win10 is not letting me get acess to DCS 1.5 resulting in some of my game crashes. I installed the Open Beta outside the Program Files to the C:\ Drive Do I also need to enable Run as an Administrator in the exe files. I just want to make sure that Win10 is not trying to block me from executing the program Cheers

Mission Editor Inserting Random Data I think it has something to do how the mission editor saves the .miz files I noticed that you have to label the waypoints and cannot leave them blank If you leave them blank that's when either DCS crashes or it will not save If you label the waypoints it will save the mission file. I'm still trying to figure out why it decides to crash when I exit the mission but I'll do more research on that Cheers Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hi 14th_JAR, I got the entry.lua file in the CVN-77 and it seems to like DCS 1.5 I had a similar problem catching the wires until I realized my Tailhook was not down Anyway I can make arrested landings and takeoff in DCS 1.5 using CVN77 so its a start. The transparent textures doesn't bother me so I'm still flight testing the A-7 to see if I could fully use it in 1.5. So far no significant show stoppers

Hi Morkva_55, Here's the screenshot that may help. It looks like the inside gear texture may not be displaying on an NVidia GPU and DCS1.5 A quick head's up the vLSO Mission from 14th_JAR does not want to load in DCS 1.5 but that's a different issue. Great mod!
