As you can see, I like deltas. If not the F-104, why not the ultimate Delta Interceptor the F-106 Delta Dart. Cheers

Hi Guys, I would think outside the box for my wishlist. Instead of a new aircraft module, why not a historical theater terrain like Normandy. With the MIG-19, Mirage III, and MIG-15, MIG-21 out or working to be out in DCS, why not build a terrain that includes the Sinai Peninsula and/or the Suez Canal. The oppurtunity for campaigns and historical air battles would be endless. You would need a Tu-16 and IL-28 AI but I think they can do it. Just saying Cheers

I just finished the campaign and all I can say is “Wow” I flew both the Georgian War with the eagle and the Mirage and I love the Mirage Bleeds a lot of energy in a dogfight but you can tackle a flanker in 1v1 or 2v2 the key is you got to know what you are doing or you get an Alamo or archer in the face which is not good Keep up the great work can’t wait for your next awesome creatio Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It’s a classic case of RTFM which stands for Read The Freakin Manual i.e. The Mirage Campaign Notes in this Campaign Thread. I just found it today and had my answer in bold blue print Oh well now I know better Cheers Lucky Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks Baltic Dragon, That was the problem:thumbup: As soon as I unchecked it, everything Comm wise worked. Will restart campaign now to better enjoy it. Honestly I didn't know the Mirage can be so fun. Cheers, Lucky

Nice campaign in which I learn new things about the Mirage Anyway just trying to find out if I’m doing something wrong. The mission will not let me tune a frequency manually it only lets me use Presets I passed the mission but is there a setting in DCS I left on Cheers Lucky Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

F-15C The Georgian War Campaign Feedback
ruddy122 replied to baltic_dragon's topic in F-15C The Georgian War
Hi Baltic Dragon, I finished the campaign a couple of days ago. Great job in setting the missions just right. You don't have to be an Eagle die-hard flyer but definitely beyond Rookie knowledge to really enjoy the campaign. :joystick: I never knew BVR combat in the Eagle is challenging and fun. Keep up the excellent work! Cheers, Lucky :pilotfly: -
F-15C The Georgian War Campaign Feedback

Had lots of fun in the first two missions Quick question do you need both eagles alive for mission success? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Thank you for the quick response. In terms of the formation position, I agree its up to the player. For mission 1 the mission editor shows 647 KMH for Su25T which is roughly 330-350 kts The AI seems to be quite touchy in DCS World Thank you for the advice Cheers Lucky

Only the missions that require escort or formation Those that are not it's up to the player Primarily just the document in the briefing Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Can you add one more thing to the briefing package Can you add some formation speed parameters, type of formation and distance parameters to your briefing. Just want something to shoot for while in formation. Great Campaign I love it Cheers, Lucky

Balanced Configuration for Sta 1, 2, 10, 11
ruddy122 replied to ruddy122's topic in DCS: A-10C Warthog
I agree that is the easiest option. But I don't have a Thrustmaster HOTAS or an X55. I'll put that in Santa's list. Cheers, Lucky -

I noticed something with Tacview and the DCS SU33 Because the Su33 does not utilize a flight path marker(fpm) in it's HUD, I want to know where the visual aimpoint is located on the Su33 I use the ils info bar 1/4 up the HUD glass as a rough aimpoint Just looking to see what other Su33 drivers use Cheers Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Just something I noticed while flying the Su33 in 2.1 with the Normandy map The Su33 is a little more responsive on approach and easier to fly and trim to land on the carrier It could also be that I'm getting better at carrier ops Anybody else noticed that in DCS 2.1? Hi Everyone, Just looking for DCS advice on some good landing techniques for the Mirage 2000. Primarily a steady power setting on approach. If I have to fly AOA (Chevrons on Landing AOA bars) all the way down. I noticed I have a lot of power inputs and destabilizes my approach. I'm doing about 75%-83% power to be a little fast on approach (slightly above the AOA bars) but when I roundout and flares my AOA is right on the bars before I chop the power inside 10 ft rad alt. Pretty amazing braking peformance with the Parachute Deployed. I can land at RAF Funtington in Normandy map with no worries of running off. Not bad in a 1500 m runway. If you have any tips that would be mostly appreciated. Cheers, Lucky

Thank you for all the great advice! I'm starting to land on the Carrier  at a decent speed 270-280 KMH A lot more concentration that shooting rockets, bombs, Alamos and Archers :joystick: Here some screenshots for today catching the two wire on the Kutz from my ancient computer. Someday I will get a new one once I get more funds Cheers Lucky
