  1. DCS 2.2 and the Normandy Map is a good area to learn the Harrier Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. What are the weapons clear out of the barn in the harrier early release version? Besides the MK82 series, Rockets, Gun, Sidewinder and SideArm what other goodies are out there? Still trying to perfect my RL as I progress to VL Cheers Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. That’s all up to the flight simmer so you are going to get infinite answers on this. I’m a fixed wing tricycle or bicycle type of guy. My personal faves as of now is as follows 1) My first choice is the harrier because it is a lot of fun right now even it is an early release 2) the new release SU33 because I’m prepping to be good at carrier ops for the Hornet or Tomcat 3) L39C because it is unique to fly well Hope this helps Cheers Lucky Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I usually fly around 270-280 on approach Practice makes perfect Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. My apologies for not being clear Aimpoint control is still important I finally figured out what the big white circle across the 2nd wire from the stern It’s a giant aimpoint in the last seconds before you trap Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Which wire do you strive for in the Su-33? What does the white circle do? I figured a rough aimpoint with the ils mode on. 310+ KMH is the middle of the upside down bank indicator. 290-310 KMH is the middle point between the arc of the bank indicator and the ILS Line and 290 KMH and below is the line and below I’m an equal opportunity wire catcher. I catch any wire that can stop me. Wishing for a flight path marker in the MiG29K or the J-15. Cheers, Lucky Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. As you can see, I like deltas. If not the F-104, why not the ultimate Delta Interceptor the F-106 Delta Dart. Cheers
  8. Hi Guys, I would think outside the box for my wishlist. Instead of a new aircraft module, why not a historical theater terrain like Normandy. With the MIG-19, Mirage III, and MIG-15, MIG-21 out or working to be out in DCS, why not build a terrain that includes the Sinai Peninsula and/or the Suez Canal. The oppurtunity for campaigns and historical air battles would be endless. You would need a Tu-16 and IL-28 AI but I think they can do it. Just saying Cheers

    Mirage Campaign

I just finished the campaign and all I can say is “Wow” I flew both the Georgian War with the eagle and the Mirage and I love the Mirage Bleeds a lot of energy in a dogfight but you can tackle a flanker in 1v1 or 2v2 the key is you got to know what you are doing or you get an Alamo or archer in the face which is not good Keep up the great work can’t wait for your next awesome creatio Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Vaziani tower that is Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. That’s a weird one the only thing I can think of is make sure you put in the comms for vaziani and request inbound that might help Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. It’s a classic case of RTFM which stands for Read The Freakin Manual i.e. The Mirage Campaign Notes in this Campaign Thread. I just found it today and had my answer in bold blue print Oh well now I know better Cheers Lucky Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Thanks Baltic Dragon, That was the problem:thumbup: As soon as I unchecked it, everything Comm wise worked. Will restart campaign now to better enjoy it. Honestly I didn't know the Mirage can be so fun. Cheers, Lucky
  15. Nice campaign in which I learn new things about the Mirage Anyway just trying to find out if I’m doing something wrong. The mission will not let me tune a frequency manually it only lets me use Presets I passed the mission but is there a setting in DCS I left on Cheers Lucky Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Hi Baltic Dragon, I finished the campaign a couple of days ago. Great job in setting the missions just right. You don't have to be an Eagle die-hard flyer but definitely beyond Rookie knowledge to really enjoy the campaign. :joystick: I never knew BVR combat in the Eagle is challenging and fun. Keep up the excellent work! Cheers, Lucky :pilotfly:
  17. Had lots of fun in the first two missions Quick question do you need both eagles alive for mission success? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Thank you for the quick response. In terms of the formation position, I agree its up to the player. For mission 1 the mission editor shows 647 KMH for Su25T which is roughly 330-350 kts The AI seems to be quite touchy in DCS World Thank you for the advice Cheers Lucky
  19. Only the missions that require escort or formation Those that are not it's up to the player Primarily just the document in the briefing Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Can you add one more thing to the briefing package Can you add some formation speed parameters, type of formation and distance parameters to your briefing. Just want something to shoot for while in formation. Great Campaign I love it Cheers, Lucky
  21. I agree that is the easiest option. But I don't have a Thrustmaster HOTAS or an X55. I'll put that in Santa's list. Cheers, Lucky
  22. Sta06 is not wired for gps guidance but can load cbu 87/97 or Gbu 12 if you like Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. It should read Sta 01,02,10,11 Main Goal is to keep the wings balanced Sta 03-09 is user preferred Hope this helps Cheers Lucky Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. 11 and 12 are the outer wing stations Sorry for the confusion Lucky Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Here's two possible configurations if you want to keep balanced while practicing weapons training STA01 LAU105 STA01 Lightning Pod STA11 Rockets STA12 ALQ184 Or STA01 GBU12 STA02 Lightning Pod STA11 GBU12 STA12 ALQ131 Happy Landings Lucky Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
