'Hoogvliegers' = high flyers I am not a fan of Dutch television at all, but thought this at least was worth posting. This 8-part series was made in collab with Dutch air force, so should feature some pretty good action sequences, if the trailer is anything to go by. Based on past experience I am not expecting much from the acting though :p

There is also a potential for training here. Being able to see the live perspective from a trainee pilot position would be useful for all kinds of coaching scenarios, think of carrier landing or AAR for example. re: E-Sports, I totally see the added benefit of this.

Thank you so much for these videos. You and Mazex (and others) have done amazing work making this software more understandable. Its definitely made my whole DCS experience more enjoyable. This thread needs to be pinned btw :)

Ah cool, must have been that. It went away after I briefly removed power from the unit. One of the benefits of updating all the firmwares is that I was able to significantly reduce the deadzone, so I can be far more precise with sight inputs. But I am having to learn how to fly all over again, so that's interesting :p

Thank you Fred for all your efforts! I just updated the firmwares all the way up including your patch. I am getting a precision out of the stick now that just was not possible before. I ran into a very weird thing though. Currently (I have not yet rebooted), the stick appears to be stuck in some kind of 'demo mode'. I can use the stick itself fine in DCS at the moment, axis work great and never so smooth. But the buttons on the stick, almost all currently initiate some kind of severe force-feedback effect. Each button seems to do something else. Its almost as if my stick is now in 'display mode' or something you would find if you were to demo force-feedback in a store display. I have done a few quick googles and cant find anything about this mode. I will reboot soon, see if that clears it. Just wondering if anyone had seen this behavior before.

The 1.2.16.1 update dropped. Havent seen a changelog yet, but it seems the canopy issue is solved. Also, keymappings have been updated, it is possible to map a zoom axis again, and probably other axis stuff too.

This is a pretty newbie question, i am sure. But when a third party dev says "fixed!", does that mean that next time i run a DCS upgrade, it pulls the latest 'build' of the addon aircraft down? In other words: do i immediately experience the 'fix' ?

I think this means you forgot to lock your cabin. Yellow canopy locking handle. on the left.

I know the full manual is still a work in progress, but might it be possible to share with us the meanings of the Caution-Warning panel indicators? I am getting a yellow "TREN" accompanied by a constant tone, when I have been in flight for a while. Its not mentioned in the checklists. Awesome aircraft, bought it yesterday.
