Sporg, Thank you for translating those instructions. A couple questions, though. I didn't see any place talking about what to do with the USB plug. That makes me wonder. I am using the Logitech G430 headphone/mike. It is set up to either use a USB plug, or the sound card. At the moment, I am using the USB plug. If its OK to go the USB route, do I do anything with the other plugs? Again thanks, badfinger

Andre, My gametrix seat arrived today, and I have some questions about what to do next: Noob Alert. 1. Can I or can't I use my MS Sidewinder FFB Joystick with this in DCS? 2. How do I access the control panels for SimShaker and gametrix? 3. Is there an English language owners manual available? I think many of my questions will be answered, if I have the manuals. I wanted to fly in DCS multiplayer, to see what it was like. I picked the "Bloodandiron" server, which belongs to ACG. The Teamspeak address is listed in their website as 85.236.100.27:16317. However, I get a warning saying the address is "compromised". Is this true? badfinger

I have been having a problem with DCS, since I updated to version 1.5.0. I get this message when I try to install my modules: Bad Image C:\Windows\system32\wpdshext.dll This popup is a problem for DCS, only. I have spent a lot of time in TeamView with a DCS support guy, trying to solve this. He has found that there is no way to fix this, except to upgrade to Win10. However, I have a program, AirDisplay, that is not compatible with Win10, and must delete it, first. The problem here is that the AirDisplay files are scattered all over the place, and some can't be deleted, even using Administrator. I have contacted AirDisplay (Avatron) to get some help, but haven't heard from them, yet. So, if you have AirDisplay, and plan on getting Win10, be advised there will be problems. Googling "Airdisplay and Win10" shows lots of people have also been bitten by this, and none of the supposed solutions listed have worked for me. Until this is fixed, the only DCS plane I can is the free TP-51.

I'm getting this popup, when I try to update C:\Windows\system32\wpdshext.dll Anyone know anything about it?

I have downloaded 1.5.0.45208.37-11(4).exe, and the other six files to my download manager. So, they are all together, at this moment. When I launch the .exe file, it asked for a language, I tell it English and click OK, it then asked me if the file is in C:\download\software, which is where it is. When I try to go the next step, it says it can't find a file called 1.5.0.45208.37-11(4)-1a.bin inC:\download\software. What file is this, and why is it looking for it, instead of the .exe file? I'm stumped. Any help appreciated.

Well that's great. I'm up to 47285 and wondering why I can't access my modules. Why would any update be available if you can't use it?

I updated to beta version 47285. When I go to the Module Mgt to get my modules, all that happens when I click "Install" is the game closes.

I just updated to the latest 1.5 Beta version, and none of my planes are there. Thanks, badfinger

A noob question, I know. Do I keep the folder with the original beta version, or have the new version take its place?

Is this worded right? Page 86 in the manual. "Choose best seating position. This can be adjusted by using the Right Shift + Right Shirt + KP8 and Right Shift + Right Shirt + KP2." What is a Right Shirt? Is "KP8" the "8" key on the keypad? Thanks, badfinger

Changed date and location, used latest updater, didn't work, same msg about updater being suspended.

All I get is a window telling me that the auto update feature has been suspended, and that the only way to update is a full re-install.

I spoke too soon. I now have no internet connection!!

That didn't work. I get a msg saying the update version I am using is not compatible with 64 bit Windows, and I should ask the software vendor for help. badfinger
