Updates in 2.2 I don't think the 1.5 updates for M2K are in 2.2 unfortunately. can anyone confirm ?

Shame... Too bad I can't actually try out the older version. I don't understand why with the exact same configuration and hardware setup, my button matrix doesn't work at all. Oh well... Thanks anyways :) Happy flying :pilotfly:

Hey guys, I'm using version 161101 and I have made myself a nice 6 encoders + 12 buttons flight box. I'd like to map one of the encoders to the mouse wheel. For some reason version 15xxxx had mouse emulation but I can't get my setup to work with this version. With the same exact hardware setup, 161101 is working just fine. I'm using button matrix, 6x4. Does anybody know what happened to the mouse and keyboard emulation in Mmjoy? I can't find it anywhere in the joystick button tab of the configuration tool for 161101. Thanks. Happy flying :pilotfly:

Thanks for taking the time to reply Golbin. I eventually figured it out from another post. It turns out that for some reason, on the Micro Pro, you have to use the pins marked on the boards from 3 to 8 for columns. using those fixed the issue.

Hey guys, Quick question and MMJoy and Encoders. So i'm using the Pro Micro 5V board. I currently have built a replacement for the WH slew stick and it works great but I'd like to push it further. I'd like a bunch of encoders to rotate various dials like HSI needles and such. I'm testing with an Bourns Encoder with push button and I have have a weird problem. With only one encoder, it works just fine if I don't put any diode in but it doesn't with the diodes. I'm using 1n4148 as diode. I double-triple check if the orientations of the diodes are correct and they are. I even reversed them to be sure. Either way it's not registering... Any advise for me ? Thanks for your help. Happy flying !! :pilotfly:

Slow IP I'm having a problem with the campaign in 1.5.7. In mission 1, when I rejoin the IP after takeoff, he is flying really really slow, like 140kts. It is only me or is it something to be fixed with the latest version ? Thanks for your help.

Yes that's exactly what I'm reporting. I believe that clicking with the actual window does put in focus, at which point, joystick input is taken into account, including the button set in UI Layer

Thanks for the tip but I already have my taskbar on the left. Still no joy.

Does it work in alt-enter mode (fullscreen) ? It doesn't for me unfortunately.

Ok so, in VR mode, you most likely have a button setup on your hotas for the mouse button. That way you are completely hands-on all the time even when you need to manipulate cockpit switch and what not. You just have to point the little dot on the center of vision and activate switches with the joystick button mapped as left mouse click. So it works also in the main screen, to manipulate menus. My problem is that right after the briefing loads, this doesn't work anymore, I can't click the Fly button that way because it seems that the game "window" is out of input focus. I have click with the actual mouse button to bring it back in focus, then it works as expected. Same thing happens after the loading screen, I can't click resume with only my head and joystick button. I have to bring it back in focus, then it's working fine. I have the same problem in alt-tab mode. I also don't have this problem in 1.5 :( You guys don't experience the same problem ?

Hey guys, So I'm enjoying DCS in VR with my Oculus but there's one thing that's killing, beside performance issues. It seems that everytime I load a mission, when I get to the briefing and after the loading screen, DCS looses input focus, which requires, to reach out for the mouse and click to put it back in focus. Using the button I had mapped as left mouse button doesn't work. It is really annoying especially in VR where I managed to completely remove the need of the mouse. Is it just me or do you guys experience the same issue ? Happy flying :pilotfly: C.

Hey Guys, Just received my GF Pro yesterday with TM adapter. It looks great but the configuration tool is kind of a mistery. Is there a way to setup a button as a modifier like Shift. I had it configured like this with my TMWH and it was real easy in game to set it up. Any guide floating around ? Thanks

Thanks man I'll look it up.

Holly smokes, Sokol, it's getting real :). It looks spectacular. I can't wait.

Well, I think I might have found my own answer. http://www.molex.com/molex/products/datasheet.jsp?part=active/1041270510_PCB_HEADERS.xml#documentsAnchor These look to be the correct ones. Can't find them on ebay though :(

Hey, I'm trying to replace a broken pcb connector on my Warthog throttle pcb. I had read somewhere on the forum that they were JST SH connectors and blindly ordered a couple from Ebay. Turns out they don't fit. The pitch seems the same (1mm) but the connector has a higher profile and lacks the locking mechanism on the plug. I'm kinda struggling to find what they are. Does anybody know what kind they are ? Happy flying :joystick:

Well yeah I totally agree but I wish they could provide a version without the IP68 certification, I'm pretty sure it would halve the price. At $50 a pop, I'd totally have gone for it.

I have a project in development to replace the Warthog TDC slew tit with a mini thumb stick. I'm almost done and went with a PS3 thumb stick. Those APEM look really nice, any idea about the price ? from what I see, $100 or something ?
-
Nice !! Thanks a lot for the info. Keep 'em coming :) Cheers !

Hey, I'm making a similar project to replace the Warthog TDC ministick. I got the PS3 stick but I wasn't able to find any datasheet. I have made a small breakout board for the stick. I hope it turns out fine. https://oshpark.com/shared_projects/hn77gybC What input voltage are you using ? Thanks -
When in VR with the "Use Mouse" option on, The clickable radio doesn't work. I get 2 cursors, a white ball and the blue cross when I activate the radio menu. When I move my head, the blue cross moves but not the white ball. When I move the mouse, both move  The radio menu item are clickable only with the white ball. I'm running the latest 1.5.5.58642. Thanks. Happy flying !:joystick:

Well, careful with these if you plan to use them anywhere other than on a desktop, where anything can bump into the grip. The sensor seem to be very sensitive to excessive pressure. I have been in contact with the guys over at realsimulator. They are based in spain actually. They actually told NOT to buy from them because I have my joystick mounted on my chair. They told me they were looking into making a sturdier version but no ETA. I have lost interest and will wait for the Gunfighter. Happy flying !

That is good news. Thanks for the update ! Where was that published ?

Actually it is not compatible as is. The Warthog stick has 5 pins but the Gladiator Pro only has 3. If you read further up this thread, I explained the story. In short, at some point when the glad pro was up for order in Europe, I was in contact with Eduard and I requested a warthog adapter before I ordered. Eduard had a couple in stock from the Black Mamba and though it would be the same. When I received the glad pro and the adapter, I discovered that I would not be able to use it because of Eduard told me that he was trying to be helpful as I was insistent to have the adapter and did make the sale but later heard that it required an additional PCB and software update. He had no ETA from mothership and offered me to send everything back, free of charge. I'm guessing that the mechanical problems they discovered on the gimbals and the 3 wire protocol versus 5 made them give up and focus on making the Gunfighter instead.

Damn I'm so glad I did return the Gladiator Pro !! I'm glad Eduard offered to return it free of charge. Too bad for early adopters though.
