  6. I believe that is a spin and an optical illusion caused by the camera aircraft's movement. :)

  8. Yeah, It seems there wouldn't be a difference in spotting ability between air and land vehicles but i guess so, maybe there is a file somewhere that needs to be edited...:)

  10. Hmm, it seems that it only blocks line of sight against other ground vehicles. I tested with KA 50 and hiding behind buildings work but not trees. I put 2 ground vehicles within range of each other and neither one reacted. Of course I could be doing something wrong ;)

  13. These were flying low over our house so we ran down to the lake and my sister took video of them picking up water. She posted the closest one on my Dad's Youtube channel, It was about 30 ft away. We think he may have been trying to scare us off :) Anyways I thought you guys might enjoy it:
  14. Thanks for the info! I only get lag with lots of rockets and explosions together usually. I pretty much never get lag on landings :thumbup: My pc was only about $850 so not too expensive :) If i change my textures to medium I can't read the cockpit very well but i might be doing something wrong (?) Happy flying and safe landings! :) EDIT: I had scenes on low and thats why i couldn't read the cockpit, i have textures on medium now and it looks fine! and BTW my FPS is usually in the 40's at higher altitudes :)

I rarely get lag for more than a few seconds, I tried medium textures but i couldn't read the cockpit :) During lag it can get as low as about 10 but mig 21 siting on the runway i get about 25 which i am pretty happy with. I wonder what 1.5 will be like... P.S. I think I heard somewhere that TSSAA just robs FPS without any graphical gain, you might try it with it off and see what happens.
  16. You may ask, depending on the circumstances, about 24 to 35. But rockets kill me, any more than 4 or so at a time and it starts to lag. I attached my settings below. EDIT: Changed shadows to medium and gained a few FPS :thumbup:
  17. I have a GTX 645 and have most of my settings high and i get ok performance, And the 745 has 4 x the VRAM

    Sorry for late reply. Wow, thanks guys! I own the MiG 21 and Love it, but it looks like its going to need some fixes. About the the NWS: yes it is definitely better than before but there is some rudder effectiveness at taxi speed which is what i wondered about, looks like it will get fixed. That's great! Thanks Tarres! Can you elaborate on the ASP implementation? Thank all of you so much!
  20. First I want to say Thank you so much for giving us an AMAZING simulation of the MiG-21! But I have heard that there were some unrealistic features put in on purpose, for example: Nose wheel steering, CCIP Bombing reticle, etc. And i am wondering what features are unrealistic and if these still exist, and if so, Will they be fixed? Thanks again!
