Your PSU will depend on the rest of your system, and for my system 330w is enough but most will require more as hadwell has said. I will attach my settings, I get an average of about 85 FPS just flying around. I don't have IL2 so I can't help you there, sorry. Ok, so after some research and calculations i now have a GTX 1060 founders edition in my computer. Yes i have the 330w PSU :) . It is doing very well with DCS and I can post some info if anyone is interested. My PSU seems to be staying cooler also.

I just got a 1060 yesterday and does really well at 1080p. most (not all) of my settings are on high and it holds 60fps with very little stuttering.

I wasn't planning on trying the 240w brick :) But if the the 960 is approved by dell (it is) and if it is 120w, then shouldn't the 1060 work since its listed as 120w?

Hello, I will be giving my parents my gtx 645 soon and hope to replace it with a 1060 and wanted to make sure there wouldn't be any compatibility issues. The main thing i am worried about is power, I know that a gtx 960 would work according to this: http://en.community.dell.com/owners-club/alienware/f/3746/t/19636150 And both the 960 and 1060 are listed at 120w so it should work unless i am missing something ;). but i just wanted to check with you guys since you know a lot more than me. Also if there anything else that i should know please tell me (!). Thanks!

Actually, it is what puts it there in the first place. The designers put the trimming law into the FBW system to make it fly like a positively stable aircraft AFAIK.

I think what he is saying here is there are 3 factions: us, Starway, and ED, Starway "sold" it to us, not ED. Therefore ED would have to "buy" it by donating another $3000 to use it officially. Correct me if i'm wrong :)
