The way I see it: I would like civ aircraft in DCS if they came from a 3rd party, because ED a lot more important things to do. Why not FSX? I Trust ED for high fidelity modules. With that being said, civ aircraft could have negative effects, for example: all the punks from FSX and x plane could come over here and clog up the forums with stupid posts, and since Matt already threatened to take away live streams due to him and Sith getting tired of moderating the Q&A thread, than that could be a dangerous thing. And as a (hopefully) future pilot I would love to be able to fly GA aircraft in DCS for educational purposes. We should thank Suhkoi25 for his gererosity in making a aircraft for us!

I believe the tacano is in development by VEAO. I think a j-3 would pretty dang awesome! But does not carry weapons (that I know of). An O-2 Skymaster does carry rockets i believe, and would fit in to the korea/vietnam scenario.

Wow, this thread escalated quickly. I think you will be fine controlling FC3 planes with the mouse but if you get a plane with a clickable cockpit you will not be able to fly it unless you have a full scale home cockpit :) . I would recommend using the keyboard or geting a fairly cheap joystick. I use a CH combatstick and I really like it, but it is probably out of you price range ($100). By the way some of you are not complying to the forum rules:
