  1. Okay, if this is backed up by your SME then so be it. Thank you for taking the time to clarify this.
  2. I wholeheartedly agree with you. We do appreciate all the work going into the F-16. But the current state of the F-16 forced me to park it in the hangar for some time. I am a Viper guy from the very beginning but at this time frustration keeps me from using it which is truly sad. I hope we will see an improvement in the very near future. Be it a quicker rollout of bugfixes between major patches or whatever. The current situation is not okay, though.
  3. Indeed. The manufacturer explicitly mentions A/A modes for the Aselpod. Now, from my understanding the WMD-7 is literally the same pod. I realize that the sensor has a slightly different camera setup, though. A bit of clarification from DEKA would be highly appreciated. I leave a picture from the unclassified brochure here so you can see for yourself. Thank you.

    exocet!

Won´t happen. Sadly. The F1M has the corresponding radar mode but the Exocet has never been used by the Spanish Air Force. It is what it is. Then again, the F1M will be quite a nice jet...it still does not have Mode 4 interrogator, though. It will have a few nice upgrades, though. That´s quite something something - you will see. Please understand, that the Spanish Air Force did not acquire all possible weapon combinations for the Mirage F1. We won´t get the MARTEL or the AS.30, either. It will be the Spanish version, with all pros and cons...it is what it is...
  5. As the title suggests, we are now in 2024 and the JF-17 is still one of the best modules in DCS. I recently started flying the JF-17 regularly in PvP again and it's just wonderful - still just wonderful. The flight model, the radar...everything. It's still just fun. So if you're still thinking about purchasing the JF-17...do it! You will not regret it. Yes, there are still bugs...there are some issues, but...but in my opinion there is nothing that is "game breaking" and the module is complete and out of EA. Also, and since the J-8 II has already been announced, I will definitely buy it, the JF-17 will continue to receive support, DEKA has done a great job over the years and so we are probably on the safe side here. Awww yes, the Jf-17...the Jefff...I just love that little thing. Thank you DEKA. Looking forward to the J-8 II!
  6. I hadn't even noticed the whole dispute until now, I just had too much to do this week. I've only just absorbed the entire available context, which I will not comment on. I'll put it this way, I am shocked. For the moment, as a customer, I'll accept this statement from you. But I would like to point out that this is an extremely serious matter. Not only is the reputation of both sides at stake here, there are a lot of people who, probably just like me, have purchased every module from RAZBAM. Really every module. And I love every single one of them. We had a broadly similar issue with VEAO back then...I really don't want to imagine what would happen if the so-called "worst case" occurs in this case...
  7. Exactly! Just a small sign of good will would do it for most of us, I believe...something that would show they actually care.
  8. That was a small sign of life, I give you that. But apart from that? Really basically nothing. The roadmap has not been updated since July 2023 and the thing is that we have zero information on where OnReTech currently stands with their project. Not even ED seems to know about their current progress. Not even a single word by OnReTech on why they slipped their update at least two times, now. Yeah, that’s indeed what I basically call a comms dead company…really no need to play the white knight here. I mean, look at the comments here. Do you think all these folks make this stuff up? People start getting angry and frustrated…rightly so. At this point we really need a bit more than a few shiny pictures. A sign of good will would be i.e. to at least fix the dreaded bullseye bug. Not even that! Sure, you can do it by yourself but you really shouldn’t have to after nearly a whole year…
  9. Thank you, BN! As always, your intervention in this case is very much appreciated...! This keeps morale high. So again, thank you...
  10. I bought the map last year on the day it was published. By the way, that was on June 8, 2023. Sure, the map is usable, the lighting effects are great and there are no unusual crashes on my system. Still, there are a lot of bugs and a lot of things that leave a lot to be desired. So far, after almost a whole year, we haven't read a single line of text in any changelog. There is no updated roadmap and effectively zero communication from OnReTech. My patience is slowly running out. Rightly so. My patience will end promptly on June 8th, 24, one year after the release. Then we'll have to talk about some form of sanction/compensation from ED if OnReTech hasn't patched it by then. I'm starting to get some slight "VEAO vibes!" Some may still remember the Hawk...! A pretty dark chapter in DCS history. I hope we won't experience something like this again. Ultimately, such behavior from a 3rd party developer always reflects on ED, it is already quite borderline that this is still tolerated in this form...
  11. Damn… Okay, I guess we expected this entire situation already and this basically explains why we have not seen more videos of the F-4, yet…so no hard feelings there. Also, it’s the Phantom so it is certainly worth the wait…I mean, a certain F-4F in a special livery is basically parked right outside my living quarters on my airbase. And from what I saw this very livery will even be included in the DCS F-4E package - how cool is that? IronMike, Cobra…you guys need to promise something, though. As soon as the F-4E is becoming more stable please show real gameplay footage of it to make the wait more bearable. Anyway, good luck guys…
  12. So what we can probably say with certainty at this point is that the F-4E is now in ED's test cycle. And we all know that it can take a few weeks. Especially when a module brings so many potential innovations within the framework of DCS. So what can we do? We can only wish Heatblur that they have submitted a good test build and that they manage to eliminate all bugs in the next 14 days and that they manage to present a release candidate during this period. However, that might not be quite that easy. What I don't understand though...why doesn't any of the usual YouTubers have access to the F-4E? I mean, it may be that Heatblur is just too busy to make more videos at the moment...okay, but then why can't the usual YouTubers present some content in the meantime? I don't understand. In any case, that would make the waiting time much more bearable and prevent any speculation.
  13. Good to see you guys keeping our morale up...indeed, this is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
