Currently the only planes in development which really interest me are the F14 and F18. What I really crave are more DCS-quality Cold War Soviet aircraft.

MIG-23. Someone HAS to make it.

Right house should be destroyed from bomb #1. Radar would probably have shrapnel/cuncussion damage, but not catastrophically destroyed. Same with BMP for bomb 3. Probably penetrated with shrapnel. 50/50 on whether still operable or burning.

Thanks for the recommendations. I was deliberately vague as I'm truly not sure what I want. I already have the MIG-21 and love it. I'm also definitely going to pick up the F-14 when released. Still on the fence whether I want a new map or new aircraft to learn. From what I gathered above, M2000 and F5 are both nice, but F5 is more feature complete. Did they ever fix the missile problem with M2000 where it seemed to have way too much drag? I remember reading that a while ago.

I've been away from DCS or a while due to work and having young kids. I anticipate in September, I'll be able to spend some time playing again and was looking to make an addition to my DCS stable. I'm only willing to buy one additional module for the foreseeable future, so what would you recommend: Nevada map, M2000, or F5? I only play single player and usually just for short game periods. Fire it up, fly a simple mission, done. Thanks.

Good video, thanks. I saw some P51's required multiple 30mm hits before they were shot down. I would have thought a single, maybe sometimes two, hits from the 30mm would be enough to down a P51.

That also happens. To answer previous question, the bug I'm referring to is when jumping into AI aircraft. Since I'm not the only one having this issue, I guess it's a bug.

When I swich planes after getting shot down, frequently (>70%) the plane I enter immediately loses all power. They were working just fine until I switch to it. Not sure if this is a Mig-21 bug, general DCS bug, or operator error. Any ideas? Thanks.
